5 of 5 Great Cordless Desktop Wednesday, February 18, 2009 A Customer from Fort Worth, TX
I really like this cordless combo. The keyboard takes up less space than my old one, and it sits flat which I find far more comfortable than with the legs down to elevate the top of the keyboard. I do miss my old Logitech keyboard's round volume knob, but will get over it very quickly. I have configured the keyboard's sleep button to restart Windows and find that handy when I am too far from the CPU to reach the controls, and the screen freezes preventing me from using the mouse to reboot. 5 of 5 LX710 wireless mouse & keyboard Tuesday, November 04, 2008 George from N Palm Beach, FL.
Excellent product. Very easy to install and set up. Had minor problm with "F" keys functioning but problem was fixed imediately after calling customer support. Used on line support first but was unable to fix problem but after phone call unit worked great.
mouse works very good and very confortable feeling- Like all the functions on the mouse.
Both mouse and keyboard are very user friendly and palm rest of keyboard exceptionally comfortable to use. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Logitech- easy to use and ergonomically sound Wednesday, September 17, 2008 Amy from Minneapolis, MN
I will admit I'm a fan of Logitech, but am particular because I work from home and use this set 50+ hours a week. The keyboard sensitivity is just right, my hands rest nicely below the space bar and the mouse fits my hand well. It came with batteries, connected in seconds and the fab is small (looks like a flash drive). I don't know how easily the software installs because I don't need the added features right now. I would recommend this set to anyone. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product Thursday, September 11, 2008 A Customer from harrisburg
This is a great product for the price. Wouldn't ask or anything else. It's very very easy to use and has many useful function keys that an be customized. Go wireless! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great combo set!!!!! Thursday, August 28, 2008 A Customer from TX
The price and looks of this combo is great. I wish the back of the keyboard stood up a little higher in the back, since it is lower in the back that the other keyboard i had, i sometimes place my fingers on the wrong key. After i work through that issue, this will be perfect. I especially love the mouse! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Super cordless combo! Tuesday, July 01, 2008 Chet from Bethel Park, PA
Bought for my wife's PC in her home office, it installed instantly. The keyboard and mouse haven't given me a hint of a problem in the weeks that they've been installed.
She has it configured for her needs. I am not familiar with what she's done. She loves it (or I would've heard....).
I like the "feel" of the keyboard. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works well Thursday, June 26, 2008 A Customer from San Jose, CA
This keyboard and mouse work well.. I'm still on the first batteries, and I've never shut off the keyboard and rarely shut off the mouse (see why below). I like the customization of the function and center media keys. Some of the special keys are limited in how they can be customized, rendering them useless for some apps (IE: zoom keys for Photoshop). Also, the layout of the arrow and home/page/end keys are different. I like the layout, but it takes a little getting used to. VISTA: You may have to tweak some power settings to prevent the keyboard and mouse from waking the computer from sleep spontaneously. Sometimes, to ensure no accidental "awakenings", I have to power off the mouse. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Mini Multimedia Keyboard Thursday, June 12, 2008 Manoj Pahuja from Goleta, CA
I had used many wireless keyboards and mouse. This one is the best by far. I particularly like the music control on the keyboard itself. The keys are softer which I enjoy working on. Overall highly recommended. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Weird keyboard layout Friday, May 23, 2008 A Customer from Fayetteville, NC
The touch of the keys are pretty good but the cursor keypad is annoying. The Home key is above the oversized Delete key and the End key is right of the Home key rather than below it in the traditional 101-key keyboard layout. The mouse feels good in the hand but doesn't seem very accurate. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great for the price Tuesday, May 20, 2008 A Customer from Sacramento, CA
Works fine at about 6 feet. Extra buttons for media and applications are useful. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice product, good service Monday, May 19, 2008 DRP from Newark, NJ
The product is good, arrived on time and very easy to use. It would have been nice if there was some indication light when we put on CAPS LOCK. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Wireless keyboard and mouse Monday, May 19, 2008 harveylas from Wildwood
Easy to install and I have had no problems since installing. Just would like to see caps on and off on key board rather than on screen. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse Sunday, May 18, 2008 yuriy from Brooklyn, NY
Bought the item. Installation was a breeze. Just a little hiccup with detection of the mouse, but after a few times pressing the "connect" button on it, the mouse worked. Keyboard worked from the start. With $20 rebate, free shipping, no taxes and google chekout with additional $10.00 off came out to $19.99. Coul not get a deal like this even on e-bay. I'm glad to have obtained this item. It works with no problem and is very responsive, with additional functions and multimedia and "back" and "forward" buttons on the mouse (also programmable). 5 of 5 Great wireless keyboard + mouse set Monday, May 12, 2008 popsmap82 from NYC
GREAT reception for both keyboard and mouse. The connection is still excellent when the usb reception is 5 ft from the keyboard & mouse. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Beautiful setup Sunday, May 11, 2008 A Customer from Phoenix, AZ
This cordless desktop is beautiful and has a really intuitive key layout. I was wary when i saw the delete/home/end/pgup/pgdown keys were rearranged from all the other keyboards I've had, but this layout is easy to use. Notice the insert key has been moved up and out of the way next to F12, so you don't accidentally hit it. Who uses insert anyway? The battery life is great, and I use the mouse and keyboard at a range of 10 feet with no problems. Also the key action is feels soft and is whisper-quiet. I really love this combo, I recommend it to anyone who wants a stylish, quality desktop. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Go for it Monday, May 05, 2008 A Customer from New York NY
Although there are small problems, which the latest update fixed partly, this is the most stylish and ergonomic kit around. As a quality oriented budget customer, I highly recommend this product. (I have been using it for about 8 months) Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Best Keyboard/Mouse Combo Wednesday, March 26, 2008 Roderick Elliston from Sunrise, FL
Setup is impossible to get wrong (just plug it in). Look and feel is far better then what I expected... I can't imagine anything better. I use the mouse to work in Photoshop and the difference in precision from a regular mouse is clearly noticeable. Long battery life with low battery indicator. Finally, I was pleased to find that the keyboard contained a perfect layout, including only the most useful shortcut keys, such as volume control, mute, play/pause media, zoom and rotate. The omission of such keys as My Home and Shopping was an excellent choice in my opinion. Truly, I like to reserve a perfect score for only those items in which I could not find anything to complain about, and this is such an item. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good product Friday, December 07, 2007 SB from KY

5 of 5 Excellent wireless combination!! Saturday, December 01, 2007 A Customer from Bloomington, IL
I was able to get this combination for an excellent price after mail-in-rebate, and just love it. Have not had any issues since I hooked it up. Like how solid feeling the mouse and keyboard are. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome Cordless Keyboard/mouse Thursday, November 29, 2007 Dave M. from Edmond, OK
Very easy to install and use. Lightweight with great range for the keyboard. Lots of convenient buttons for my applications... just need to learn to use them. Gotta love this keyboard! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great notebook companion Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Markitect from St. Louis, MO
I bought this so I'd have a mouse and keyboard when I'm using my notebook at my desk. I did not want to have to unplug anything when I take it to another room, so I picked this one with the mini-USB adapter. It works great. Easy to set up. I really like the feel of the mouse. The little forward/backward navigation buttons took a short time to get used to--now I like them better than the side buttons on my Microsoft Explorer Mouse. The mouse is handy to take with me... works great on any surface, including my corduroy sofa cushions.
If I could change anything, it would be nice to have an even smaller USB adapter because this one is too long to leave in the port when I put it in my briefcase. But this is nitpicking. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great buy. Wednesday, November 28, 2007 nharvey64856 from Rogers, AR
Love the keyboard and mouse. Easy to install and all the options a keyboard should have. Only problem is my delete key sticks sometimes. Something could have happened on my end with 2 kids and 3 cats. Still great to use. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good combo Wednesday, November 28, 2007 A Customer from Chicago, IL
I am happy with this purchase overall. I had a Microsoft combo before and it was horrible. I also love the small receiver that just plugs in to your usb port. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great mouse, pretty good keyboard Tuesday, November 27, 2007 FrankH from San Jose, CA
I've been shopping for a wireless combo and have even bought and returned a few. I bought the LX710 for wireless functionality and the form factor. The mouse works great and has a good tactile feel. The keyboard itself is nice and the battery life has been great (as opposed to other reviews I saw). The two issues I have with the keyboard are that the keyboard sits very flat (even with the rear lifters up) and is a bit hard to use for that reason. I also had a hard time getting the volume controls on the keyboard to work but finally succeeded. Overall, a good combo set. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Perfect Keyboard for Desktop Use - Not Recommended Tuesday, November 27, 2007 Nick from Englewood Florida
This keyboard and mouse is great for general computer desktop usage. However, the ideal range on the receiver is around 3-5ft. The keyboard will work at a longer range, however, the mouse gets a little touchy beyond 5 ft and does not function at all past about seven. The ranges are even shorter if you aren't running the most recent drivers from the Logitech website.
I bought this for use with a media center pc in my living room, and when I called Logitech support about the range issue they explained to me that this as well as all of their non-bluetooth products are meant to be used on a desk with the USB receiver under the desk and less then 3ft away.
If you need something for the intended usage this is a great product! They keyboard and mouse are a value and the keyboard is very comfortable to type on. The slightly non-standard layout ( of the insert/ home/pageup-down/delete/end ) area takes a little bit to get use to, but is not a major issue. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Short Range Tuesday, November 27, 2007 Justin S. from San Antonio, TX
This set is not bad, but definitely not good, especially if you plan to be any distance away from your PC. Mine has a range of about 9 feet from the receiver with direct line of sight, and about 5-7 feet without line of sight. Also the laser mouse has a hard time with a lot of surfaces that opticals work fine on, like glossy wood finishes carpet. In my opinion, opticals are far superior to lasers, which are mostly a marketing ploy. I would recommend this only if on a very good sale. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 ok deal Tuesday, November 27, 2007 A Customer from Chicago
It is a ok deal, which has a good price for this combo. But the performance of mouse is not so great, and deos not work well. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Item! Tuesday, November 27, 2007 burdzeln from Augusta, Maine
The logitech Wireless Mouse and Keyboard work just fine. I am pleased with the performance and the ease of operation. I have a small work area but because it is wireless, I can move it to any part of my desk and continue to work. The one change I would like to see is to put in a light which would indicate when you are typing in Capitol Letters. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Key board program keeps standby awake Tuesday, November 27, 2007 A Customer from Port Townsend, WA
Although the keyboard and mouse function well, so long as the software program is active, my Dell computer will not shut down properly in standby mode. The hard drive keeps running.
I had two e-mail conversations with the tech help dept (who were quite courteous and tried hard to help) but finally said after some research that it is a problem with Dell computers especially. We tried resetting the BIOS. I did not pursue it with Dell. I am using it now as a regular wireless keyboard without the special features. The laser mouse is great! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Still using the same batteries Tuesday, November 27, 2007 javier3188 from Bronx, NY
I bought this to use for the first PC that I got to build this year. Just over 2 months now, and this keyboard has been completely worth it. The only issues I've had with it are that the keys on each side are easy to accidentally press. I get removed from a round of Team Fortress 2 because my palm tapped the music key.
The range from the transceiver is rather generous and the battery life is great. Since I got it only the mouse went low, and even then I just swapped the batteries with those in the keyboard. Still working fine.
Really wish those keys on each side did wrap so far around to the bottom, they can be pressed from slight bumps from the side. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great combination Friday, October 26, 2007 EK West from Florida
I purchased this keyboard and mouse, to replace the plain one i got from dell. Its looks good and stylish, it also works really good. I use my keyboard and mouse about 6+ feet away from the base unit; which is relatively small (I use the USB extension cable) and with that i get even further distance. The price is pretty good i paid about $57. The only problem that i have with it, is I use rechargeable batteries and the key board uses them Well... the mouse only requires 1 AA and the Keyboard 2 AA. I recommend using the rechargable, because it will really require you having a stock of new batteries on hand. But all in all i do get good life on the batteries.
Final note: Good Price, Good Product, Works Great. Buy it with rechargeable batteries. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Too Slow For Games Sunday, September 09, 2007 dan from holtsville, ny
There is a small delay from the time you press a key/move the mouse when using this product. It's small enough that it shouldn't bother or even be noticed by most. However, be warned that if you intend to play fast games such as warcraft 3 or bioshock the delay on the mouse is enough to be a serious problem. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 High quality and easy to install Thursday, August 30, 2007 Xconnection from New York
Logitech has always been an industry leader in manufacturing mouse and keyboard. The quality of their line of products are pretty much correlated to their MSRP. This keyboard and mouse are on the high side so their quality are great.
More important issue for those wireless devices are how easy to install the driver and make it work the way it should be. Unlike the blue tooth wireless keyboard and mouse, to install the driver is a breeze. a 10 years old kid can do it in about 3 minutes by just keep clicking the "next" button. Lots of keys that you can customize to suit your own need. Mouse are very precise and sensitive. Overall it is a great product and a great buy. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Fair, not the best Monday, August 27, 2007 A Customer from Bonham,TX
I'am not sold on this 100% but I had trouble with My Panda
antivirus software and I had it removed & things are working
better,I'am going to try this a little longer, mouse is small
I like the fill of the MX better.
I got a rebate on this for 25.00 six weeks ago. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Comfortable to use Thursday, August 16, 2007 A Customer from Denver, CO
This is my second wireless keyboard. The first set was a Kensington Pilot Board, which had stiff keys and from time to time the keys would repeat (the system thought I was holding the keys down).
The Logitech keyboard has neither of those issues. The keys are a light touch and work great for fast typing. I have never had a problem with the keys repeating. The included USB extension cord is nice for placing the receiver right next to the mouse and reducing interference, however, I have it connected to a hub, which does the same thing.
I thought the Kensington keyboard had a better layout with the audio keys on one side and special function keys on the other. With the Kensington it was one button to launch the calculator and other apps.
The Kensington mouse was also a lot larger so the Logitech mouse took some getting used to but now I like it, although it still could be bigger. I think the two extra buttons are in a better location on the Logitech, they were hard to use on the Kensington (located next to my thumb). Was this review helpful?
2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Logitech does it again Monday, August 13, 2007 JBatur from Hartwell, GA
This is my second Logitech combination keyboard/mouse set. The first set lasted me seven years and is being replaced only because the letters are worn off the keys. I have six computers and use two keyboards so I bought two of these. They work great, were easily installed and setup allows you to degate mostly all the special funciton keys if you do not use them. Cannot say enuff good about Logtiech products. I would recommend this to anyone, including friends/family. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Can't beat it! Monday, August 13, 2007 Rick C. from Melbourne, FL
This wireless keyboard and mouse set was just what I was looking for. The mouse has a power button, which always works best for battery longevity. They were easy to plug-in and setup on both Vista Business and XP Pro. The response has been great and I can easily unplug the USB receiver to swap between my desktop and laptop when desired. 5 of 5 Works great Monday, August 13, 2007 A Customer from Miramar, Florida
Easily hooked it all up and my computer instantly recognized it. I have had no connection problems. The mouse is just the right size; not too small for me, not too large for my kids. The keyboard is a little too light for my taste, but works fine. Not sure about battery life yet, too early, but so far, so good. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Logitech LX710 Combo Thursday, June 28, 2007 A Customer from Fritch, TX
The keyboard/mouse combo are excellent products. The mouse is responsive and easy to use. The keyboard is is compact and easy to use, but the keys have a stiff feel that degrades from overall satisfaction.
