5 of 5 easy to use Wednesday, May 20, 2009
    sm from Jacksonville, FL

I bought this remote for my wife. She hates to handle all the remotes I collect with different devices. So far, with the help of Logitech's customer service, I have been able to control everything including my audio system. I would recommend this remote to anyone.

4 of 5 Helped clear the clutter Tuesday, March 24, 2009
    A Customer from Asheville, NC
The Logitech Harmony 880 helped us consolidate all of our remotes into one easy to use appliance. It works very well and when a problem arises it walks you though steps to correct the situation. It easily controls our TV, A/V unit, HD cable box, HD DVD player and CD player. I bought a new one to keep as back up when and if this one every craps out.

5 of 5 Remote you always hoped for Saturday, March 07, 2009
    Buddy from Frisco, TX
The Harmony 880 was very easy easy to set up and operate. This is the first time I have ever been to get a remote programmed to where I could control ALL of my various components with ONE remote. It's simple to set up and simple to use. Product was shipped on time and arrived in perfect condition!

5 of 5 Better than sliced bread! Thursday, February 12, 2009
    Bob P from Nazareth, PA
This product certainly has made life easier in these days of multiple remote controls. "One touch access" is the key element for all my electronics and the 880 makes it all possible. Logitech has made another fine product and bestbuy.com offers the 880 Harmony at a price I can afford with a delivery time "spot on".

5 of 5 One of my best purchases of 2008 Friday, February 06, 2009
    Josh from DFW, TX
This remote is fairly easy to set up using an included Logitech web based application. And once it is set up anyone can use it. It is quite intuitive and like most Logitech products it seems to be very well made and put together. We have been using it for the better part of a year and have no complaints. With an entertainment set up that includes a DVD recorder, VCR, Receiver, PS2 and Digital to Analog Converter I knew it was going to be difficult for anyone other than me in my house to be able to use the system easily. This remote has made it easy for the entire family. In fact, the Logitech Harmony remotes are so outstanding that I am not really sure why any other manufacturer even bothers to make universal remotes.

    5 of 5 Nice handful... Friday, January 30, 2009
    jrv from Joliet, IL
I've been a friend of Logitech for 23 years. Whilst doing FCC testing in the early '90's we used Logitech mice as peripherals because they were the quietest. They could take a beating too. This device is today's version of their understanding of the human form. The buttons are all within a thumb or finger's reach, regardless of function. The method of programming the remote is also intuitive and easy to carry out. It's great to finally have one device control everything I've got!

4 of 5 Great remote - but could be redesigned Monday, January 19, 2009
    Phil from Atlanta, GA
The remote works as advertised - set up is easy, it controls all the components, and even has an ever-present help mode in case the IR signal wasn't read by a component. My only suggestion to improve this device would be to redesign the buttons to make them larger and more touch identifiable. The buttons to control the replay, rewind, etc are much too small. The mute button is in a strange place. Manufacture: listen up - change the button layout and the buttons! Otherwise, a fine machine. Someday I will be able to memorize the position of all the buttons...

    5 of 5 I Love this thing! Saturday, October 25, 2008
    Josh from Churchville, NY
This remote if wonderful. I had a hard time justifying 150 bucks for a remote but I'm so glad I bought it. Setup was a no brainer, a monkey could do it. Just Write down the models of your equipment, install the software and it walks you through the rest. I have a Vizio HDTV, Denon A/V receiver, Philips DVD-r, and a Scientific HD-PVR Cable box. All of them work flawlessly. The only time you run into issues is when you do something with out using the remote. The remote remembers the current status of the equipment so if you turn something on or off manually then it turns it off when you want it on or visa versa; Its simple to straighten out just undo what you did manually. The rechargeable dock is real slick and looks pretty cool next to your entertainment system. I've always had a fully charged remote and it has great reception. Our other remotes were real finicky about pointing them directly at the component. This remote just need you to point it in the general vicinity. The layout of the keys could be better. In the dark you cant just feel for the right keys. It has a great backlight but I like to just know where the keys are. Also the off button can be a pain in the tail. It sticks out and can get hit accidentally. Not a big deal if youre just watching TV but Ive inadvertently hit the off button 3 times while watching a movie. Thats a pain because now you have to watch all the previews again before you can get back to the movie. None of these issues are enough to deter me from highly suggesting this remote. Hope this helps.

5 of 5 Great way to consolidate lots of remotes Monday, October 13, 2008
    Chris from Fisher, IL
I ordered this because I was tired of having to use four remotes to watch my PVR and my wife was unable to figure out how to watch anything. The software is very intuitive, easy to program, and quick to use. You do need to collect info about the model numbers of your AV units prior to programming. Once I programmed it, you just had to touch the button next to the color display to "Watch DVD" or "Watch TV". Just remember to keep the remote pointed at the AV units long enough for all commands to be sent. The buttons on the remote correspond to the AV units, so watching TV with my DVR meant just pushing the same buttons on the Harmony that I used to push on the DVR remote. There is even a 30 second skip button (I am using a Comcast provided DVR). I highly recommend this, escpecially if your significant other is not a techno geek and just wants to watch TV. My wife was even able to do so while I was gone without me having to walk her thru all the steps on four remotes over the phone.

5 of 5 Very happy with remote Friday, October 10, 2008
    Tom from Atlanta, GA
I replaced an older Sony universal remote with this one and was sceptical it would work with my multiple units including VHS and Beta VCR's, Laser Disk player, Yamaha DSP-A1, JVC LCOS TV, older DirecTivo and newer Direct TV DVR's, and even an iScan converter. It does, and works great! It took a while (especially for me) to input all the device names, but it works for all of them. You can edit where the "soft" keys are displayed and after doing that am happy with this purchase. No negatives at all.

5 of 5 Better than expected Wednesday, October 08, 2008
    James from Macomb, MI
The initial setup of the software was straightforward however setting up the activities took a bit more effort. You really need to think about what it is you want to do per activity to be truly free from the multi-remote lifestyle. For example, when I watch a DVD with surround sound, I still want to be able to turn off the Receiver & use the TVs volume as well. Once I added these functions to the custom buttons area for that activity, it worked like a champ. It took me 3-4 hours of tweaking spread over two evenings to get every activity functioning just how I wanted (mostly due to setting up custom buttons). The effort was worth it since now my wife and I can control the Cable Box, DirecTV DVR, AV Receiver, DVD & TV all with one remote. I would have rated the product a perfect 5 stars if it wasn't for all the time I had to spend configuring the remote to 100% replace all of the originals.

    4 of 5 Impressive, but not a cure-all remote Monday, October 06, 2008
    A Customer from Seattle, WA
After conquering the initial learning curve, I have managed to program most of my equipment to use the remote. I don't see any way to be able to fully retire many of my remotes though - there are just too many unique features on each remote to ever get the 880 to do everything. The best I can hope for is to get the major functions covered to simplify life for my wife and kids. I am all but convinced that I will not be able to pack away the old remotes though. Perhaps I just have too eclectic a collection of devices to control. I would recommend this remote to technically savvy people who have a reasonably straightforward and limited set of equipment to control.

    5 of 5 Good remote ... great value Monday, October 06, 2008
    ncwes from NC
Got this remote to replace a Harmony 657 which I ma now using in our bedroom because the 880 was on sale. Comparing the 2 remotes I really enjoy the 880. It seems to be a little more feature packed than the 657 and with the $50 rebate it is comperable in price. Had a small issue when using with a Dish network digital converter box but it controls all I need for my primary TV. I really like the auto-on backlight when the remote is picked up.

    5 of 5 Love it! Monday, October 06, 2008
    A Customer from Tempe, AZ
This is our second Harmony 880 (the first we moved upstairs to use with our TV system there). It is surprisingly easy to program and it seems to learn as it goes along. It took about 30 minutes to program (including loading software) and we've had no problems since. It seems to be more responsive than the remote that came with our satellite system, and using it is pretty intuitive. My kids also like the fact that they can use it to turn on the video game system! Overall, this has been an excellent experience.

4 of 5 Small buttons detract from otherwise great remote Monday, October 06, 2008
    Art from Cary, NC
This is a very nice remote and is set up using software and an online database. We have a video receiver, plasma tv and PVR and all worked for watching tv after the initial set up but telling the remote to listen to the music did not work after the initial setup and I will have to tinker with it. The real detraction is the small buttons to pause, fast forward, etc. I can't imagine what logitech was thinking when it decided on using such tiny buttons on a otherwise capable remote.

5 of 5 The epitome of elegance and organization Sunday, October 05, 2008
    A Customer from Spokane, WA
I can't think of anything in my home I would miss as much as my 880 Harmony Remote. It's practical design, truly universal functionality, and ease of setup have made me an instant fan. This is actually my second 880, as my first controls the living room setup, while the second controls the bedroom. The level of customization even includes changing the duration of the IR signal to better control input changing on a television, or menu selection that might be slow or doing multiple "clicks" with one push of the button. While this might seem like a lot of money to spend on a remote, trust me, when you're able to toss a half a dozen or more remotes in a drawer and just use one, you'll definitely feel it was worth it!

5 of 5 Happy to have only 1 remote Saturday, October 04, 2008
A Customer from Garden Grove, CA
The Harmony 880 did an excellent job of replacing the four remotes I had to use to control my rather simple home entertainment system. I was very impressed with the number of devices that are in the Logitech library. There are quite a few settings that can be adjusted to get things working properly, but eventually I got things working quite well. On occasion, all of the devices do not start up as they are suppose to (most likely due to an IR malfunction) but the Harmony's help function does an execllent job of sorting things out. Highly recommended!

    5 of 5 Great product - buy it! Wednesday, October 01, 2008
    Osmond from St. Joseph, MI
I've had this for a little over a month now and it's been really great. I currently have a Samsung DLP, 5-disc DVD player, HP media center, and Comcast cable. Some people have complained that it takes a while to set up, but I never had any problems. It took me about 20 minutes to get it up and running and that's mostly because it the CD wouldn't work on Vista. PROS: Amazing battery life! I charged it once, then took it out of the cradle and it went for over a week without another charge. No glitches - it works flawlessly with all my toys. My wife isn't the greatest with technology and she loves it - it's so easy to use. CONS: Take some tweaking to get it to work well with a media center. I actually prefer my media center remote, but this works for everything else. The install program isn't compatible with Vista (at least mine) and the CD didn't work on a CD/DVD combo drive. It worked on a CD-ROM drive, which is really weird. This is the only dics I've ever had a problem with. I bought this from Buy.com for $92 with a rebate. And it's a steal! This remote rocks! I would highly recommend it to anyone that needs a universal remote. If you have electronic dimmers in your house, you can control the lights too! I love it.

    5 of 5 Great Remote - Once It's Programmed Wednesday, October 01, 2008
    beancity from Utica, NY
Extremely happy with the performance of this remote. I had a Harmony 576 before this one, and the 880 is a sleeker better performer. The cradle and rechargeable battery are great. The old one went through 4 rechargeabe Ni-mh batteries a week. The buttons and color LCD screen are better too. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars for ease of use is that while programming it many of the steps are less than clear, and it leaves you to a lot of extra time experimenting. But, once you get it - it's great.

    5 of 5 Harmony 880 is a Dream Wednesday, October 01, 2008
    Tony from Rockaway, NJ
This universal remote has it all! After years of multiple remotes and several attempts at so-called "universal" solutions, I finally found the answer. I spent a few minutes finding my components on the Logitech site (made really simple by the site's reactive menus) and another minute selecting the input and on/off combinations for each activity. In under 5 minutes out of the box, I was able to watch TV with only one button on one remote. Changing activities is so easy that my 7-year-old daughter mastered it on the first day. My old remotes are in a drawer somewhere -- the Harmony 880 is all we need!

    5 of 5 Awesome Harmony 880 Wednesday, October 01, 2008
A Customer from San Diego, CA
Aewesome remote. This is an upgrade from the Harmony 550 and this is even easier to use! Love the color screen and the ease of programming. You can set up specific commands based on your needs making the 880 a peronalized remote. I recommend the Harmony remote to reduce the remote clutter.

Works as advertised. It was very easy to set up as all of my stereo/av equipment was listed on the web site. Still trying to train my wife to not use any other remotes or turn anything on at the device. Let the Harmony do it.

5 of 5 great universal remote Tuesday, September 30, 2008
A Customer from San Francisco, CA
I received a Harmony 628 as a gift 3+ years ago and loved it from the start, then decided to upgrade this year when ours started to have some issues with the programmable buttons and I saw a friend's 880. Took practically no time to switch all my settings to the new remote, then I spent maybe 20 more minutes or so getting it just right (don't turn off the cable box; separate one-button presses for Wii vs. PS2; one-button access to the DVR on the cable box). The rechargeable internal battery is a fantastic feature, and the buttons are nicer than the 628. The layout is slightly awkward for getting to some of the low buttons, but not enough to really make a difference. Their configuration software is a little clunky, but once it's set up this remote is great. Overall, I highly recommend this remote.

5 of 5 Excellent Universal Remote Wednesday, September 24, 2008
    Bo from Lawton OK
I purchased my harmony 880 based on user and expert reviews and it is everything the informative reviews said. The 880 is simply to setup and works great. This remote replaced 5 individual remotes associated with my home entertainment system. It allows me to do EVERYTHING from one remote that previously took several remotes. Thru BUY.COM the price was super, much less than the MSRP, and there was a $50 Logitech rebate on top of that. I strongly recommend BUY.COM and the Harmony 880.

5 of 5 Great upgrade for previous Harmony Models Sunday, September 14, 2008
    A Customer from Denville, NJ
I've owned a Harmony 659 for years. At the time I purchased it, it cost about $120 and all the other Harmony remotes were at least double that. The 659 worked fabulously, and my only complaints were that it's batteries (4 AAA) just didn't last long enough, and I could never get used to the remote's awkward button layout. All that has been resolved with the 880!! The layout is simple and easy to remember, the back light stays on even after it sits for a while and the recharge cradle solves my battery storage issues. This remote was way out of my price range in the past, but now at $92 with the buy.com $50 mail in rebate, it's a no brainer!! I'm going to give my old 659 to my girlfriend who is currently struggling with three remotes of her own (don't worry I'll also give her my current AAA battery stock pile)

5 of 5 Excellent Product for an Excellent Price Friday, September 05, 2008
    Tom from Schenectady, New York
Heard about this unit from a friend who paid over $200 but was thoroughly satisfied. It sounded like a 'must have'. After research, BUY.COM had the best price. This is definitely a slick device. Before using device charge it overnight jus to be safe. Also collect all the model #'s of devices that you wnat to control and organize your 'activities'. Activities are how you want your devices to behave. Ex Watch TV...turn on TV to proper input setting and turn on cable box. One more plus -comes with its own charger. The lower models need batteries

4 of 5 The Logitech Harmony 880 - all that is advertised? Sunday, August 03, 2008
An advanced technical user from Green Valley, AZ
This unit is very good but doesn't always work as it should. At times I have to go back to a previous setting, then try a second time to switch between functions. This usually works. Overall, I'd say it is the best universal remote I've seen. However, it doesn't do everything - but no remote invented yet will be the answer to all entertainment system control issues.

    Chris from Shrewsbury, MA
Very happy with the remote. Easy to configure (via the web) and use. Makes it easy to watch TV and movies with a complicated home theatre system. The charging cradle is alos a great feature as I will never need to deal with replacing batteries. Since this is an older model, the price was discounted which made it a great value.

    5 of 5 Awesome Remote Monday, July 07, 2008
    Jim Lange from Woodinville, WA
I was a little concerned after reading some reviews at RemoteCentral.com that a Harmony remote would not give me the programming flexibility of the Home Theater Master remote I was replacing. However, it has proven to be extremely customizable and does everything I need. <br><br> The programming software is a little cumbersome, but once you get used to it, you can do virtually anything you can imagine. I really like the power and input status tracking feature since I don't have discrete codes for all my equipment. Now when I switch activities from "Watch TV in Surround" to "Watch a DVD", My amp stays on instead of cycling off like it did with my old remote. <br><br> My family loves it too!

3 of 5 Better than the remote that came with the TV Tuesday, July 01, 2008
    A Customer from Charlotte, VT
In general: 1. I don't think that activity based functions are as intuitive as Logitech would lead you to believe. What if you tuned in the TV and then later decided to watch a DVD? Do you have to shut down and then press the DVD activity button? 2. My wife is dumbfounded by the activity-based methodology. 3. Programming is easy 4. The display is nice. 5. The range is great. 6. 5 of 5 Harmony 880: symbol of quality Tuesday, July 01, 2008
    A Customer from Woodridge, IL.
I am a computer engineer. I take pride in producing something that just WORKS, that I don't have to persuade every time I use it. The Logitech Harmony 880 is something that just works. Although pretty customizable, it's not 100% customizable and that's something I can easily live with. Although, all my Logitech products are like that. Support is very top notch too.

    5 of 5 A must have!!! Wednesday, June 25, 2008
    A Customer from Centreville, VA
If you have more than one remote, or even need to replace a broken or lost remote, the Logitech Harmony 880 is a great investment. You can control all of your devices with a single sleek remote with a rechargeable battery. It is a great addition to any home entertainment system. The learning capabilities to download remote control functions online and the ability to capture remote control commands is something that a generic universal remote cannot do. The part I love about this product is that it is totally customizable. The online support for customizing and upgrading is also great, ... and free!

4 of 5 Finally one remote! Wednesday, June 25, 2008
    A Customer from Michigan
I have been wanting to upgrade our remote when we upgraded our stereo system, TV, and hooked a media center PC to the whole set up. It's been great to move from four remotes to one remote, especially when the babysitter or family is over that didn't understand the 'system.' It does work as it should; but it did take some tweaking to get the media center PC to work into the remote as I wanted it to. This is certainly an advanced option, but we use this computer for many things besides the media center and getting the remote to function with just the computer seemed a little tricky. It works now and we are pleased with the favorite channels area of the TV, that it makes all of the settings on the stereo and TV correct, and that my 4-year-old can finally operate the TV and watch a DVD on her own!

5 of 5 A lot of setup time, but worth it. Tuesday, June 24, 2008
    A Customer from California
If you spend the time to think out your actions that you want this remote to do, it will work great. You'll spend a fair amount of time with the setup. The program for the setup isn't that great either, opting for a mostly web-based type experience. On the plus side, they keep your settings on their server so if you have to rebuild your machine, you don't loose your remote settings. You'll probably end up tweaking the settings a couple of times but once you have it right, you'll be able to truly use this remote as an all in one solution. I've got this set up to run systems in multiple rooms. The range on the IR is good. the buttons take some getting used to but you quickly get the hang of it.

2 of 5 Nice Product, but having a few problems Tuesday, June 24, 2008
    kennedyl4u from Sunland, CA
The Remote is beautiful, nice Color Display, great Online Programming concept and is fairly easy to configure. My only real bad experience was the installation of the provided software on CD. I installed it on a Windows 2000 Desktop Computer and it corrupted some files or Registry settings. What happen was when I finished the install it prompted for a Reboot System and when it started back up, I could not activate 'ctrl, alt & delete', I had no Mouse or Keyboard functionality. I tried everything to fix it; reboot, reboot into Safe Mode, swapped USB ports, boot to"last known good configuration", but nothing worked. I called Logitech Support to see if this was a known problem, but the technician was not very helpful. He was trying to fix my system via a script he was following and we went in circles for over an hour. I didn't have the Windows install disk to reinstall windows for the fix, so the technician stopped there and asked me to call back when I was able to locate it. I didn't mention to the technician that I do PC Support for a living, but it was a frustrating experience with Logitech Support. I setup my Win2k Laptop with the software, but it was a downloaded version from Logitech site....didn't want to take a chance again with the install disk sent with the Remote. I retrieved my Windows disk and did the reinstall and everything is working ok again, but what a mess this would have been for the average PC User.... I still have some issues with programming some of my Media Components, but that may be due to Logitechs Database and the age or complexity of my systems.....

5 of 5 Money well spent! Can't go wrong with this one! Tuesday, June 24, 2008
    Jeff from Abilene, TX
I've been wanting one of these ever since they came out, but the price has always detoured me. Well, couple of weeks ago I was able to pick this up on sale at buy.com and I'm so glad I did. Setup was easy, the remote had no problems controlling all my devices including my dish dvr and dvd recorder. Even my wife was impressed by this remote, not an easy task I assure you. You can't go wrong with this remote!

5 of 5 A Super price for a great advanced remote Tuesday, June 24, 2008
    William Cardarelli from Warwick, RI
Normally I would not think of spending nearly $100.00 on a universal remote control, but the deal as far as price goes was too good to pass up especially considering the advanced features and easy programming of this remote control. Most universal remotes can be a little difficult to program and sometimes you cannot find or get a code for certain devices especially the newer more advanced devices, but that is a thing of the past with the Logitech. Just hook it up to your computer with the USB cable provided after loadinmg the software provided and it will find any device and learn its features. The only part of the programming process that can be a little tricky is when you have to provide some specifics of how your devices are connected, but all you need to do is look at the connections on the back of all your devices to see what ports they are connected to and transfer that information into the software and your pretty much done after that. A great remote for allof your needs.

    5 of 5 Great Remote! Tuesday, June 24, 2008
    A Customer from Rochester, NH
Hands down, the best universal remote I have used. Simple to use and a high quality product. Only minor complaint are that the buttons are small and crowded so this remote can be hard to use with one hand or by feel sometimes.

4 of 5 Rcvd Defective Remote Logitech Cust Serv Appalling Monday, June 23, 2008
    Todd from Columbia, MO
I purchased this remote as a gift, as I had this one myself. Everything everyone else says about ease of setup could not be more true. (Reason I was buying a second one as a gift.) But... The unit I received was defective (keys would not light - only the screen.) After dealing with Logitech's customer support (4 calls, all "promised" return calls never received) I found that they did ship out a replacement, but that the customer was expected to pay for the return of the defective unit. This would be reasonable on a remote being serviced under repair but not on a brand new unit. I've raved about the simplicity of Harmony remotes for several years, but could not believe how much the company falls down when they ship a defective item.

    5 of 5 Fantastic!!! Harmony 880.... Monday, June 23, 2008
    Mike M. from Easthampton, Ma.
I have always been a little sceptical about the all in one remotes. I tried some of the cheaper brands and could never get them to work the way I wanted. This remote is the easiest and most versatile remote to program and use. Even my wife loves the one button access. This remote replaced four remotes - SAT, TV, Home Theater and room light controller. It was extremely simple to program on my laptop. And the sale price couldn't be beaten!! Don't hesitate to pick one up - it does work!!!!

5 of 5 Very Nice Product Monday, June 23, 2008
    Steve from Houston, TX
I purchased the Harmony 880 in order to allow my mother and mother-in-law access to an a/v setup that was increasingly complicated. I needed turning on and changing settings on the TV and receiver to be intuitive and achievable in a single touch. My remote arrived super-quick from Buy.com, as usual. Setup was relatively simple - no codes, no trial-and-error. Just type in your device list and the software does the rest. The detailed activity planning is very helpful in making sure all equipment works as expected. It replicates the functionality of every bottun, even my DirecTV remote. It's a bit strange not to be able to use the remote on an individual piece of equipment, but that hasn't caused any problems yet.

5 of 5 Exactly what I was looking for Sunday, June 22, 2008
    A Customer from Atlanta, GA
I just remodeled my home and added HDTV, home theater, TiVo HD, etc. My family and I were struggling to get things to work without having to fumble through multiple remotes. This purchase definitely brought "Harmony" back to our home! The program for setting it up is easy to use and the "Activities" concept is perfect. I even set it up with one set of home theater components and then swapped out my Comcast DVR for TiVo HD. It was a snap to reconfigure the Harmony remote and update my Activities to incorporate the component changes. Big thumbs up on this device!!

5 of 5 The real universal remote control Sunday, June 22, 2008
    Bruno from Philadelphia, PA
This Logitech is the real deal. I had 'universal' remote controls before but they always lack the keys you need the most so you end up throwing them out. This one is awesome, easy to setup and to configure your activities and it works like a charm. It can also learn from your existing remote just in case it doesn't have a key you're used to. Excellent product, I wish I had purchased it a long time ago. The only thing I'd add is Bluetooth support, it can't control my PS3 to watch Blu-ray movies but it controls everything else.

4 of 5 What cant this remote do! Sunday, June 22, 2008
    A Customer from Minneapolis, MN
Besides RF signals, this is the most complete remote Ive ever had or seen. And it has everything, it can even control my Asimo 8000 to fetch a beer for me. Im on the fast track to a butt-groove in my couch. No its not without minor flaws, but I would never go back to my $6 radioshack remote. The first thing I noticed was the software was geared more for the nerdy pack. And after about 2hrs I had my remote running 90%. But still after two days I needed to tweak some settings. Another main thing which bothers me is the response of 'some' of the buttons. The volume, for example, is slower to respond to a press that the pause button - you have to compensate for this. Also it seems like Im recharging this every week - not bad but its not a month like Id expect - and besides, its not like its brewing me coffee. But if it could, the Asimo could take it into my bedroom as great morning alarm clock. You go Asimo 8000, you rock! And you too, Harmony 880!

    5 of 5 Best remote I've owned Sunday, June 22, 2008
    A Customer from Cleveland, OH
I've had other harmony remotes, this one is by far the best. The rechargable battery is the best-never by batteries again! The remote is somewhat expensive and akward in your hand but other than that its great.

    5 of 5 Great Product - Simple Setup Sunday, June 22, 2008
    fshagan from Oxnard CA
After struggling with several "universal" remotes, I finally decided to try the Harmony 880. The PC based setup allows quick updates, especially when you learn the on-line program well. The Harmony 880 is the first remote I've had that does pretty well with "remembering" which input state the TV is in ("TV", "Video1" or "Video2") and switches between them seamlessly. It does control all of my equipment, and took very little manual programming. Highly recommended.
