    This remote would probably be ok if they have the correct codes for your components in their database. Good luck with that. They were not even in the ballpark for my Yamaha HTR-5860 av receiver. Almost no correlation between what they have and what's on my receiver and updating the commands is not working at all. On top of that the buttons are cheap and too close together to get by feel. I'm sending it back.

    This is the last remote you will ever need for all the various components for your threatre system. One button turns on the Sony DVD, Pioneer Elite Threatre System, and TV if needed. Plus it will set it to the correct input. This is all after you go to the web base software and answer the question during setup. Plus if anything happens to your remote with the new one plug it into the provided USB adapter and down load the configuration from the company web site and your in business ago within minutes. Truly the best remote for use with multi devices.

    The Logitech Harmony 688 home theater remote is the greatest remote ever! I've had many universal remotes in the past including the Philips Proto (TS-1000) and Sony (RM-AV2500) and I've had a cheat sheet with 3 or 4 remotes spread out on the coffee table and it was always a challenge for my family to use the "family" room. All of the components can all be controlled with this great remote with the push of a single button, like "Watch TV", "Watch DVD", "Listen Music", "Listen Radio", etc. The greatest thing about this remote is that all of the IR codes are driven off logitech web site via attached USB cable, so a new equipment is purchase its real simple to update the remote. The only codes I had to program with the "learn" feature were for my motorized window blinds. You can even download TV listings to the remote.
