5 of 5 Need clearer instructions on programming Wednesday, February 25, 2009
    Tom from Cakais, ME

This mouse is really a great addition to my gaming online! However the instructions on setting it up could be a little clearer! It is not very definitive on how to set different speeds & have them work while in a game! It is really smooth & very responsive, thought! I would recommend it to any other gamers!

    5 of 5 Great Mouse! Wednesday, September 17, 2008
    Larry from Edison, NJ
The biggest question I had was how much battery life I would get out of these. Well, it's been over 2 years, and there has been no noticeable decrease in battery life. I hot-swap the batteries once a day (assuming all day use or a heavy gaming session, otherwise it's about once every 2 or 3 days), which is more than enough time for the "dead" battery to finish charging and be ready for use. The settings are easy to change using the Logitech software. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid laser mouse.

    2 of 5 Great - When it works Wednesday, July 09, 2008
    A Gamer from Folkston, GA
This mouse has a great feel and nice controls on screen. It would be my favorite mouse - if it worked. This mouse just cuts out - all the time! At home on my desktop computer, or on the road with my laptop, it just cuts out. When I turn it over to see the "on" light, it blinks on just as I turn it over. It's like the refrigerator light - I can't tell if it's on when the mouse is down on a solid surface. But it is terribly annoying!! ** I wrote of my problems on the Logitech forums (no help with direct support), and the only responses I got were from other Logitech users who told me their wireless mice are crap. I'm glad Logitech doesn't censor their forum, but they also don't seem to have any qualms about their product being sub-par. ** Also, it's a good thing they include two batteries, because they drain in a single day. ** I would not pay a dime for another one of these bricks.

5 of 5 Best mouse ever, worth every penny Thursday, June 26, 2008
    Andy from Minnesota
I've had this mouse for over a year now. I use my computer everyday for gaming and alot of just internet surfing. It truly is the best mouse you'll ever buy and its worth every cent. I bought it when it was newer and paid almost $100 for it and I would do it again in a heartbeat. When your hand is on something for an extended period of time, you want to be comfortable, and any size hand fits perfectly into the mouse. Also there are dpi controls right on the mouse to control how fast the cursor movement is. I programmed the extra button on the side as the back button in my internet browser but it can be programed for many other things as well. Lastly, the rechargeable batteries are the best i've seen, the ability to have 2 and just put one into the charging dock while you use the other, you never have to plug in the whole mouse like you do with other products. Its been 1 year and each battery still lasts almost a whole week on one charge. Another great product from logitech (p.s. Its not that ugly green color, its a cool black and checkerboard silver/black color. Look it up on google for an updated picture)

    5 of 5 Awesome Monday, May 19, 2008
A Gamer from New London, CT
PC gaming is big in my house - and this mouse is essential. It is responsive and very comfortable in the hand. The extra battery is great and the ease in changing it is great - takes about 5 seconds to pop out one battery and snap in the other. While it seems a bit on the expensive side, its worth it - especially with the rebate.

5 of 5 One of the best! Wednesday, October 03, 2007
e r matthews from Denver, Colorado
After straying from Logitech for a few years while using another mouse manufacturer's product, I had reason to try a Logitech again. It might have been the laser. It might have been the rechargeable battery or the great look and feel of this mouse. Whatever it was that grabbed me and made me interested in this mouse, I am very, very happy I made the decision to purchase the G7. It's by far the best mouse I've ever used. Pinpoint precision, lightening speed, just the right size and feel! I'll cherish this mouse for a long time. You won't be disappointed with this supreme product from Logitech. I'll be using Logitech again for quite awhile, now that I've found this product to be everything it's claimed to be. Viva Logitech, Viva the G7!

    4 of 5 Works great, a bit pricey Tuesday, September 25, 2007
    John from New York
I bought this mouse with a rebate that brought the total to 46 shipped. $70 seems a bit much to spend on a mouse, for me at least. However, this mouse is really great. The second battery is an awesome feature, and reassigning all the extra keys is a snap. All in all, a great product.

5 of 5 Great for Games and portable! Monday, August 27, 2007
    Smarty Pants from Missoula, MT
I use this mouse all the time for gaming and non-gaming and I love it! My Mx-1000 was kind of glitchy but the G7 is smooth and I love the ability to change DPI's during FPS games like CSS. I highly recommend this mouse, not to mention that in the year I have owned it the price has actually gone up from what I paid, but it is worth more then even the current price with how well it works! Battery switching is easy and if you need portablity just leave the charger at home and just use the small USB wireless mouse adapter on its own.

    5 of 5 Awesome Tuesday, August 07, 2007
    gerb from k.c.
I have one of these that is about a year old and it still works flawlessly. I play BF2 and Wolfenstein ET this thing is very precise and blows away the Copperhead that I have... so I just bought another! Now I can have one at my work desk and one for gaming. The DPI speed is adjustable and overall its the best mouse out there imo. This deal is too good to pass up considering I spent over 90.00 on my first one with taxes.

5 of 5 Their Customer Service is Good Tuesday, May 29, 2007
    Eddie from NY
I'm the one who leave a review on May 2007 about the problem of this mouse, after it have been used for a year. After I contacted with the customer service about the problem, they shipped me a new one, since it got a 3-years warranty. The outlook of the new one is sightly different to the picture showed in the buy.com. I felt the surface has been improved. In addition, the customer service told me the new one solved the signal problem. Let's see.

    1 of 5 Just last 1 year, it's dead Tuesday, May 08, 2007
    A Gamer from NY
I bought it a year almost a year, but it got a problem that the cursor cannot be moved time by time. I read the logitech forum and it seems some of the people also got this problem as mine. BTW, the battery life is short. After half year, the battery could only hold for a day. (I usually only spent 3 hours a day on my computer). Third, the surface of the mouse is kinda weird, easy to get dirty with your hand. I don't know how to describe it correctly; however, you should felt it once you used it for a while.

4 of 5 Logitech G7 Wireless - Almost, But Not Quite Monday, March 19, 2007
    kuri from Ann Arbor, MI
</p>After purchasing 2 of these units (1 for myself, 1 for a present), I have noticed the following:</p> <br> 1) Battery life is surprisingly decent. If you remember to turn off your mouse after using it, it can last up to 1 1/2 days. Keeping it on all day will result in you replacing the battery every 6 or so hours, whether you're using the mouse or not.</br> <br>2) The side-clicker is a little hard to push. This only becomes an issue if you're using the computer for extended periods, or have a key mapped to it for games. Also, one of the mouse I bought had a defective side-clicker, so if it seems messed up (we assumed it was normal, turns out it isn't), get it fixed.</br> <br>3) The accuracy is great. No issues.</br> <br>4) The weight is less than AA-battery powered mice, which is nice if you lift-and-drag your mouse. This mouse feels like a corded mouse, which is a nice departure from the 5-pound wireless mice of yesteryear.</br> <br>5) The inclusion of 2 batteries for this mouse was very necessary. Having a dock that acts as a USB port/charger combo was ingenious, and it makes an otherwise "okay" package excellent.</br> <p>If you're using this mouse for Photoshop, gaming, or Office use, you'll be satisfied with this mouse.</p>

2 of 5 Great Mouse, Bad Support Wednesday, March 07, 2007
    A Gamer from Garfield, NJ
Awesome mouse. Use it with my laptop to both work and play a couple of MRPG's. However, during one of my extensive travels, I lost one of the batteries. When I called Logitech's store to buy a replacement battery, the rep said I had to call the tech support, since they have to be processed as warranty replacements. Upon calling the tech support I was unpleasantly surprised that there is no way to obtain a replacement battery anymore. I was offered a new mouse at half of MSRP price, but declined the offer. So while the product itself is great, the battery life is fantastic (for a rechargable battery), the support side... well, sux!

3 of 5 Battery life sux, but mouse works great Saturday, February 24, 2007
    3ntropy from va
I find myself swapping batteries at least once everyday. Which is quite ridiculous. And of course the batteries lose performance right after the 1 year of warranty is up. So here is a tip: mark your calendars for when your 1yr is going to be up and ask logitech for an RMA if you batteries behave badly (or even if they don't, cuz they will in a month). I found this out in the 11th month and can't do anything. I expect more for this price. But it works great for games, never a connection or interference problem and very precise.

    5 of 5 Great mouse Sunday, February 11, 2007
    A Gamer from Fremont,ca
Great mouse for gaming. Accidently ordered 2 by mistake and they dont conflict when operating near (or far) from each other. Mouse range is excellent. I get about a days usage out of a charge with heavy computer use and it comes with 2 batteries and a charger(USB). The high sensitivity mouse is great for gaming.

    5 of 5 Pro's / Con's Sunday, February 04, 2007
    Ruel from Londonderry, New Hampshire
Pro's<br> 1.Was easy to install only one cord to go to the back of the computer great for all of my gaming needs.<br> 2. I actually started getting better aims on/for headshots and was very percise on other teadous movements was actually pretty amazed to see it works up to 70 feet away from my computer.and through walls.<br> 3.I play RTS's FPS's and an ocassional puzzle multiplayer game.<br> 4.Found batteries are easy and fun to swap out even during game play. mouse stays in the on position.<br> Cons<br> 1. Only has the feature of back button for non-game play websurfing.<br> 2.Didn't know that litium rechargables discharge in off position (meaning if you shut your computer off to go to sleep the USB dongle turns off and the battery in the dongle is basically lossing power in cause of the metal contacts that charge it) 3.And because of reason above /\ #2 having the batteries charge on the boost mode(up to 2hours of charging needed for either battery)the 5minute charge would last only 20 minutes.<br> My personal opinion<br> It is still a great mouse the solution I've found to make it worth while of buy to the 3rd con of this review is to take both batteries out of each device once you shut down your pc and once you turn it back on slip the batteries back in the way you had it before you play (if you pulled out battery a from charger put battery a back in charger) and let it sit for atleast 10 minutes in the charger or buy a monster USB A/C device that you can hook the mouse up to if you want to do charging without the pc on makes for a more complicated time seeing that you will be unpluging from the pc and the charger back and forth. any questions hit me up on xfire (rucipher) or leave a myspace (www.myspace.com/rucipher)message

    5 of 5 Great! Thursday, January 25, 2007
    A Gamer from Rosemead, CA
This mouse is really nice. I can sit on my bed 5 feet away and watch my Dramas on my LCD. I only need to replace the battery once every 2 days. Pretty light mouse for a wireless. Just remember to those who uses any Lithium-Ion battery (including this mouse). Never allow the battery to discharge or overcharge, they will shorten the life of the battery and you will start complaining. When the battery has 15% charge left, charge it!

5 of 5 Great wireless mouse Tuesday, December 12, 2006
    Josh from Bismarck, ND
This wireless mouse from Logitech is everything I hoped for. I was a little worried about possible lag when playing Battlefield but that certainly has not been an issue. The wireless really helps free up the mouse when you are competing in a fragfest. Battery life also hasn't been an issue. I only get about 6-8 hours during heavy gaming but it literally takes less than 10 seconds to insert the second (included) battery into the mouse and place the first battery in the charger. I couldn't be happier with this mouse. It is expensive, but I got a rebate from buy.com which lessened the pain.

4 of 5 Works Great for Gaming!!! Sunday, November 19, 2006
    Kramerr007 from San Antonio, Tx
I was very skeptical about using a wireless mouse for hard gaming, but this mouse responds great; dare I say perfectly? I am very impressed. I wish the batteries lasted longer, but having two batteries and ability to swap is very quick and easy. Default mouse speed is waaay too high, but ability to change speeds on the fly and program the speeds make this almost a non-negative. The mouse is sturdy and comfortable. Price is too high imo, but with rebate it is reasonable. Overall - a Very Solid gaming mouse. I would buy it again!!!

5 of 5 Accurate and great mouse Tuesday, October 31, 2006
    A Gamer from Boston, MA
I just bought this mouse a couple of weeks ago and it has been great. Its better then the mouse I previously had before, which was the MX900. I know a lot of people complained about the battery life on the mouse and I have to say its not as bad as people make it out to be. The battery can last between 6-8 hours of use depending on long you use the mouse. Another good thing is that logitech decided to throw in an extra battery and it only takes a second to switch between batteries, also charging the battery is a very short process. Overall I think this mouse was definitly worth the money.

5 of 5 Great Wireless Mouse Thursday, October 19, 2006
    A Gamer from SLC, Utah
Great mouse for all around computer use and so far no complaints using it for gaming either. This is my first wireless mouse and i was a little nervous getting one; concerns about interference, batterly life, etc. But it's great. The battery charger works great, so while i'm using one the other is charging and the charger charges the battery much faster than i drain. When the batter indicator shows my battery in the red i just pop it out and switch it with the one in the charger. PROs Love the DPI button, great for gaming Like the back button Battery indicator DPI indicator Love the charger & extra battery Works great out of the box without the additional software (even DPI) CONs DPI button is a little akward in the heat of the moment Wish there was a forward button Battery indicator usually shows DPI, can't always see battery status when you want

    4 of 5 Logitech G7 Cordless Mouse Thursday, October 19, 2006
    A Gamer from Pennsylvania
<p> Pros: Very Comfortable, easier software, and smooth navigation. I enjoy the +- of the resolution. Great for Gaming and/or art. </p> <p> Cons: The rechargeable batteries are great for surfing the web and everyday use of a PC/Notebook, but for gaming they tend to die pretty quickly. One battery will last about a day that includes an hour to two hours of gaming. </p> <p> Conclusion: I don't mind changing the batteries when I have to, I just see myself doing it pretty often, since I game everyday. To save on battery while I'm away, I just turn off the mouse using the power button on the bottom. </p> <p> Battery life is the only reason I have it a 4 out of 5 in overall satisfaction. The rest are 5 out of 5. Logitech makes great products! </p>

    5 of 5 Can't beat the DPI Thursday, October 19, 2006
    A Gamer from Atlanta, GA
This is by far my favorite mouse, having upgraded from the original laser MX1000. Even setting the MX1000 to a higher speed was just a little choppy, almost unnoticeable but when you can't target right in a game, you notice those things. The G7 is amazing. The DPI selector buttons are awesome. They allow you to set it all the way to 2000 dpi, and then with a few button presses, set it to 200dpi. This is perfect for sniping, where you can down-click the dpi for more accurate shooting. It's also great for photo editing, where you can be exactly precise with mouse movements when you need to. One additional feature I love is whatever type of rubber/plastic they use on the bottom. The MX1000 would hang up on non-perfect surfaces, adding choppiness to the mouse movement (I have a textured mousepad). The G7 slides effortlessly. It is lightweight, and makes it easy to be agile with mouse movements. The battery system is ingenious, and never leaves you uncharged. I hated every time I ran out on the MX1000; there was no solution but to let it charge an hour and then try to use it again. With the G7, it's as simple as ejecting a battery from the charger and switching them. Maybe a 5 second process. Batteries seem to have about a 11 hour usage time with fairly constant use. Also, having the USB dongle right there on the desk means I can quickly grab that, the mouse, and a fresh battery in the morning and use this mouse at work too! It's a great purchase, one I am glad I made. It's always great to see how just a little bit can increase productivity (and gaming fun) a whole lot.

    5 of 5 Excellent Mouse! Wednesday, October 18, 2006
    Craig Kim from Duluth, Georgia
I had some doubts about wireless mice but it changed my view of them. It is very accurate and precise. I have no trouble using it exactly like a wired mouse. Some wireless mice requires a couple of AAA batteries, which make them heavy. This mouse comes with two lightweight batteries allowing the mouse to glide easily and effortlessly. It's docking station charges a spare battery in 6 hours or so. Under normal use, a battery last about two days. Changing the battery couldn't be easier. I highly recommend not only for play games but for all purposes!

5 of 5 Best Mouse On The Market Tuesday, October 17, 2006
    Andrew from Maple Grove, MN
This mouse is amazing. Great response time. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the 2 rechargeable battery packs. They last a long time and you can use your mouse without having to put it on a cradle. Also, this mouse isnt green and grey, its black and silver. Looks alot better trust me. You can adjust the dpi settings right on the mouse. Scroll is very nice. This mouse comes with a program where you can fully controll every feature. You can customize the dpi settings anywhere b/w 400-2000 dpi. Great for gamers, don't pass it up! Buy.com is the cheapest I found this mouse. Thanks buy.com!

At first i was afraid of going wireless but after recieving the G7 and experiencing it, I think i found the perfect mouse. It gives me more control then expected with the adjustable sensitivity controls. I use this feature in Battlefield 2 for the tanks so that i don't have to pump the mouse to turn turret, I just crank up sensitivity and then nobody is sneaking up on me anymore. Love the mouse and love buy.com's great deals.

Overall, a excellent mouse. I upgraded from a MX518, and although the performace increases are minimal, it is still a very nice mouse. glides much better than my old MX518. Be glad there is two battery packs, as it seems you can only get in a few hours of serious gaming per pack. I did wish it had a regarging stand like some of the other logitech wireless mice.

    5 of 5 Nearly Perfect Wednesday, October 11, 2006
    A Gamer from Chicago IL
Well designed product for gamers. Can adjust the mouse sensitive during the game by click + - buttons. The battery life though, is a little short compare to MX100 which can last over two weeks if you use about 2-3 hrs per day. And G7, it ran out within a week with the same amount of usage. But that's why there's reason Logitech designed another battery which can swap it right away. Overall, it’s nearly perfect.

    5 of 5 Great mouse Wednesday, October 11, 2006
    Wie from College Park, MD
Overall, this is a great mouse. It glides on smoothly and fits my palm comfortably. The only minor issue is that I have to change the battery every day. But that only takes 5 seconds and the mouse comes with 2 rechargeable batteries. One battery will charge up and ready before the other one runs out.

5 of 5 Great Mouse For Gaming and Overall Use Wednesday, October 11, 2006
    A Gamer from Chicago, IL
General statement: This is a great mouse.<BR><BR> Before buying the G7, I was using the mouse that came with the Logitech Cordless Comfort Duo. The difference between the G7 and the Comfort Duo Mouse is the difference between night and day.<BR><BR> There are many positives to this mouse, with possibly one drawback. First, the sensitivity and resolution of this mouse are fantastic. I often play FPS-type games, and the ability to change between 800 DPI and 2000 DPI is a great feature. Even at 800 DPI, this mouse is terrific in responding to slight adjustments made by your hand while playing.<BR><BR> Comfort and ergonomics are terrific. If you're right-handed, you won't get tired of using this mouse. I don't know if it would fit a left-handed person, so be wary before buying it, if indeed, you are left-handed.<BR><BR> Functionally, it has a monitor on the left hand side that indicates the current setting of resolution of the mouse - 400, 800, or 2000. This same monitor then fades away to display the battery life of the mouse. It's a great indicator and bright enough to see with room lights on.<BR><BR> As for the battery, that is the only drawback. The G7 comes packaged with two Lithium-Ion batteries, a USB dongle, and a charger. The charger is able to plug into a USB input on your desktop/lap and has a USB input for the USB dongle. Thus, you can have the charger plugged in at the same time as the USB dongle while only effectivly using one USB input on your computer. <BR><BR> While the Li-Ion batteries do last, you will probably have to change one for the other every 2-3 days. Though this may seem like a hassle, you can keep one battery charging while using the other. My only comment is that I haven't used the 2000 DPI setting continuously while charging the other battery. Given that one battery takes about a day to charge, I would recommend only using the 2000 DPI setting while playing a game. I don't think the 2000 DPI is made to be used continuously.<BR><BR> One last comment is that the picture you see of the G7 Mouse advertised here on Buy.com is not the actual picture of the mouse. Whether the G7 has gone through revisions since the picture on Buy.com was taken, I cannot say. However, the G7 mouse I received was darker with a black/grey/navy finish. Nevertheless, it's still a sharp looking a mouse and a great buy.<BR><BR> If you're in the market for a gaming mouse, or even a desktop replacement, I would recommend buying the G7.

    5 of 5 Great mouse Tuesday, October 10, 2006
A Gamer from St. Paul, MN
It took me a couple days to get used to the better DPI than from my older mouse, but once I got used to the higher precision, this mouse became my favorite. Not very many downsides, aside from the battery life. Can get about three days constant use out of it with turning it off for maybe one of those nights. Battery life is fine though with the secondary battery pack that is included.

5 of 5 Best mouse EVER Monday, October 09, 2006
    Mike from Queens
I was kind of skeptical about getting a cordless mouse since of the unreliable battery life but the G7 mouse really addressed that problem by providing TWO, not one, lithium battery packs. The charging station it comes with is really small and takes up very little space. Changing the battery packs is a breeze and would take you less than 5 seconds: pop it out, pop the new one in, and pop the old one into the charging station. Logitech has always been great with making ergonomically shaped mice and this one is no different. The shape of it fits comfortably in your hand and puts really no strain at all. All in all, it was a great investment and I would recommend this mouse to anyone.

    5 of 5 G7 - Great mouse!! Monday, October 09, 2006
    nickol from Big Sandy, MT
This is the best mouse that I have ever owned. It is cordless and has no lag at all. I use it to play Doom3 and Far Cry plus all of my standard work in MS Office. You can change the sensitivity to accomodate whatever game or program that you are using. I ordered a green and silver one but I received a black one. I was not upset or disappointed because it is a sharp looking mouse. Although it is necessary to change batteries about every 8 hours, the mouse comes with two batteries and a charger. It only takes a few seconds to change the batteries. I got the Corepad Eyepad mousepad to go with it, and couldn't be happier. This mouse is worth showing off!

5 of 5 Best mouse I've used so far... Saturday, October 07, 2006
Scott Goerdt from Apple Valley, Minnesota
I have several Logitech mice, MX700, MX1000 and I like the G7 the best. The battery life isn't as great as the MX1000, but having 2 batteries negates that issue. Charge rate is fast in boost mode, and the receiver/charger base is small enough to pack in a laptop bag. Charging via USB port eliminates the need for external power for recharging batteries. It also has an On/Off switch which I believe ALL wireless mice should have to preserve battery life. It is also nice not having to put the mouse into a charging base; instead, the battery pops out for this purpose. One of the best features of this mouse is the ability to change the sensitivity on the fly, whether or not you have the Logitech drivers installed. This makes it easy to change during a game, (in case you forgot to set it up before you started the game) or in the middle of a highly detailed graphics project. Installing the Logitech drivers just gives you more options and flexibility for this feature. My only gripe is with Logitech because they don't have drivers for Mac yet and this would make it almost perfect, again because of the smaller size of the receiver/charging base vs. most other rechargeable mice.

5 of 5 Excellent Wireless Mouse Saturday, October 07, 2006
A Gamer from St. Louis, MO
The mouse is superb for gaming on a variety of surfaces. The tracking is very smooth, and responds flawlessly regardless how far from the transmitter it is, or how low the battery is. Hot-buttons for mid-game sensitivity adjustment are especially nice. Be warned, though -- you need to swap the battery for the one in the charger (it comes with 2) each night. A full battery is only good for about 16 hours of continuous use.

5 of 5 Great Mouse if small tasks do not annoy you Friday, October 06, 2006
    Jonathan from Milpitas, CA
This mouse is VERY GOOD, many people don't like the checkered color but it will grow on you. I have 2 problems with this mouse which were easily fixed - Normal Usage (nongaming) it will last on 3-4 days so battery changes are frequent but they only take about 10 seconds to fix - The "back" button does not work by default so you have to set it manualy. Otherwise it is a GREAT mouse and i recommend it to all

4 of 5 Great all around mouse Thursday, October 05, 2006
    Lugose from Fort Worth, TX
This is a great mouse for anyone needing to upgrade. (not just for gamers) On the negative side, the battery life is subpar, it only lasts about three days, and we don't use the computer constanty. The other thing is the scrool wheel is kind of hard to depress, compaired to others I've used. Other than that, it's very compfortable in you hand. There are some really cool settings that you can change around. For instance, you can set the buttons to do different things, for different applications, not just globally. (and they can be set to anything, even a combination of one or more key strokes) And there are 6 buttons that can be set (plus the scroll up/down). The other customizable setting that I thought was cool is that you can change the settings for the different speed settings and actually decouple the x and y axis. If you game, this would allow you to turn real quick, but not give up the precision in the vertical axis. The only thing I wish is that you could choose any value for each axis, right now it restricts you to the range between the closest two settings. Anyways, I've had mice in my time, and this has got to be one of the best, enough so that I had to get one for work. I would recomend it to anyone buying.

I used to use MS intelligent mouse explorer and it really felt bulky and dull. That said, Logitech G7 is very responsive and precise. I can't believe it's not wired.

    5 of 5 good mouse Wednesday, October 04, 2006
    A Gamer from Ny
Everything is good about this mouse except for two minor problems. One, the battery life isn't that great (about one day) although it comes with 2 rechargable batteries so it isn't that big a deal. Two, there is a back button but no forward button but that also isnt a huge deal either. The range is pretty sick as I can use it from 15 feet away which is good because I have a TV hooked up to my pc.

    5 of 5 Great mouse Wednesday, October 04, 2006
    A Gamer from Vienna, VA
This mouse works great. Even though it uses the crowed 2.4Ghz carrier band it still works fine even when I'm using wifi and Bluetooth. The mouse is really light, took me a little time to get use to. And the batteries do need to be changed everyday but that's not a big deal since you get two. Also the image of the mouse is out of date as of Oct. 4, 2006. I received the newer hyper carbon design when I ordered this mouse.

    5 of 5 The BEST Mouse I've Used Wednesday, October 04, 2006
    Jeff from Ocean Springs, MS
The G-7 is without the best mouse I have used. It's comfortable and responds well. You really feel like you are in control of your mouse, instead of the mouse controlling you. It's unlike any rechargable or cordless I have ever used. Where else can you get a rechargeable battery pack for your mouse and one that sits in the charger (USB Hub) until you need it? I'll be honest, I was tired of going through a couple of batteries every other week ... the G-7 will save you the expense of batteries. It's not as cheap as some on the market, but worth the money.

    5 of 5 Great mouse Wednesday, October 04, 2006
    A Gamer from Arizona
I play a lot of FPS and I have to say this mouse is great. Fast response, very precise, I love the fact that I can change the dpi on the fly. Only negative is the battery life span. I get maybe 8 hours out of it when playing, 2 days with regular use (Internet, Photoshop, general use). The fact that it comes with 2 batteries and that it takes only a few seconds to change them makes up for it.

    A Gamer from Scottsdale, AZ
This is the third G7 I have purchased, and the first with the new black skin. The new paint job and the textured sides make this an even better mouse. I use this mouse for everything including gaming. So I can recommend it for all types of users.

    5 of 5 Best mouse I've ever used Tuesday, October 03, 2006
    A Gamer from Lindon, UT
This mouse is fantastic. I've bought 2 now. The feet are super slick and you can use it on any surface. It's simple to install, just plug it in. I haven't even installed the software because it has built in sensitivity adjustment. The battery life is good. It includes 2 rechargables that are easy to change and quick to charge. I don't have to buy any more AA's. The only thing I think could be improved is some kind of audible signal when the battery in the mouse dies. The wireless is also great. I leave the receiver right on top of the pc's power supply and don't have any signal problems.
