Purchased this set to work with a new pc I connected to my 50" DTV. It was easy to setup and use with no SW. Very dissapointed when I couldn't use it past 7-8 feet from the wireless sensor. Ended up having to connect a USB extension to sit on the sofa and work. Was this review helpful?

I use this cordless desktop for the Linux machine that I have hooked up to my TV. Range is awesome, I can use the mouse and keyboard flawlessly from the couch 12 feet away. I go through mouse batteries every few months, but rechargeable AA's are cheap and easy to switch out. My only complaint is with Logitech's SetPoint drivers...they don't support Linux. It's only costing me the functionality of a few buttons (the grey buttons: back, close window, music control), but those would be convenient to have. Was this review helpful?

I have used dozens of different wireless desktops in my office and for the money this unit is tough to beat. Setup is just plug it in, restart your computer and off you go. You simply need to have a pc that has a usb port to connect the keyboard and a ps2 port for your mouse our adapter(s) will be required. It is a basic unit that doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it does everything I need it to do. It doesn't have extra buttons or readouts or some of the other items you find on the top of the line models. But quite frankly, I (like most people) never use those features anyway. This unit has a very good connection at ranges up to about 12 feet and at longer ranges its signal is good if there aren't any solid obstructions in the way of the receiver.
It was nice that batteries are included with this unit and compared to other brands the Logitech mouse is also much easier on batteries.
I have had $75 units that this one outperforms. In all, a really solid performer. Was this review helpful?

Trouble free, top to bottom. As I've only had it a week, I can't speak to reliability, but it appears to be well constructed, and hey, it's electronic. If it doesn't fail in 30 days, it probably won't. That and my past experience with logitech is pretty good. Was this review helpful?
