I have used only on GT5 Prolouge Spec III.
The FFB parameters required the highest settings for it to feel right for me. I have used the Logitech Driving Force Pro. The GT wheel is very similar, but the FFB settings on the GT are lower compared to Pro. The FFB seemed notchier on the GT wheel, but nothing that was too distracting.
I constructed a folding stand to accommodate the wheel and it's FFB. Using a table didn't work well for me as the height wasn't right. Not everyone can construct a stand, but I recommend making or budgeting for one. Unfortunately, an FFB wheel is no good by itself unless you have a stand that works.
I am sure the G25 is better, but $100+ dollars better I am not so sure. Not for me at least. I can buy real performance parts for my car for that price.
The real-time vehicle adjustments are nice. I didn't think I'd use it, but I ended up liking that feature.
Overall, a must have for Gran Turismo and other sim. racers. Was this review helpful?

I am 65 years old and have not had such heart ponding fun in years. I purchased the Logitech Driving Force GT for use with my PS3 and Gran Turismo 5 game. I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. I have spent hours playing the game and can't seem to get enough. Boy, has my reaction time improved, but still a bit slow. Was this review helpful?

This is a "must have" for GranTurismo..without it you're only getting about 50% of the feel of this game. This wheel is well worth the price. To get the absolute full effect you really need a racing seat..I have the PlaySeats Evolution which provides hours of comfort and a sturdy platform for the wheel and pedals. I bought this as soon as it was available. Playing Gran Turismo 5 Prologue with the controller is worthless. Gotta have a wheel! This is the official wheel. Much less expensive than the G25 setup and works really well. I love my wheel. Very sturdy wheel, sequential shifter, and foot pedals. I clip the wheel to a cheap IKEA table and it's perfect. If you're playing Gran Turismo, this is a MUST BUY!!! Was this review helpful?

great product, adds much more fun to the GT. feeling the road is pretty cool, its like a driving a real car.
force feedback works like a charm adds more pleaseure to driving, of course if you are a car not like me.
if you are into GT this thing is a must!
It slowed me down on a bit in real driving, you literally see what happens at fast speeds if you dont watch out, with this steering wheel.
you need a good set-up tho,
i haven't found a nice table to make it stable,
i made something for myself whichs a laughin matter to my friends but works for me for now at least,
if you got the money there are nice racing chairs for it too, which i won't be buying at all.

I'm 67 and wasn't doing much gaming until the WII. I like the motion control. I've moved to the PS3 for the Blu-Ray and like the racing games. I prefer simulations so I bought GT5P when it came out. ....you have got to got this. I ordered this on Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday the day it was released at all other stores. It takes a bit of getting used to since this is meant to simulate real life. You can't just turn a little and expect to go around a corner, you have to turn just like you would normaly. Only one Con so far, where to mount this? I have a folding tray table that I'm using now, but I might need to hack it up to get it to allow the proper angles.
