When a product has the name Logitech it usually works for the function that it is intended. You know what you are getting a functional product at a great price. This one is no different it works close up, however I was hoping for something that would pick my voice up a little better at a distance from my computer. No such luck. It looks like products that cost around $100 might do a better job at that. Was this review helpful?

Since I don't have good use of my fingers I have always had to rely on voice recognition software. I'm using Dragon software right now and thought I would try some different microphones. I don't have a very big budget. So I tried several economy types. I found this one to be very very good. I'm well satisfied with it seems fairly good noise cancellation for background noise interference. Buy.com was very fast with shipping well satisfied with their service. Was this review helpful?

So far, I haven't been able to test it out on the net, but right now I've been using it to create audio clips from television episodes and films on my computer. I get great sound, setting it up was extremely easy, and it's pretty easy to use. The placement on the desktop can be a little awkward at times, and the noise cancellation isn't all there-- at one point I was recording a clip and could hear my brother in the background on playback ... he was downstairs. It sometimes picks up the slightest noises, even the neighbors, but at most times it does the job I need it to! A great starter mic for anybody who wants one easy to use and inexpensive. I am very satisfied with the purchase of Logitech Desktop Microphone. The mic is working extremely well and I can keep the mic fair distance away and do not have to keep it at my mouth. It looks also awesome with shiny black. The only thing that I do not like much is its mute button. It feels that it may come off some time. I bought this mic for my daughter in college. She needed a mic for use with Skype, and it works great. It is much better than using a headset. Just plug it in and use your PC speakers and you have a quality speaker phone. No set up, no installation, no USB, just plug in the mini plug into your computer jack. Was this review helpful?
