5 of 5 THE BEST YOU CAN GET! Monday, October 17, 2005 Brant from Altoona, PA
I have had this mouse for over a year...I have NEVER had any problems....EVER!! The computer always recognizes it even though there are reset connection buttons on the mouse and USB plug. I LOVE THE ON/OFF SWITCH to save battery life. I only had to replace the batteries ONCE all year!
My friend needs a mouse so I'm buying another one!! You can trust the Logitech name and can't beat the price. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 My Favorite Notebook Mouse Thursday, September 08, 2005 Bob from Columbus, OH
I've tried 4 other mice, and this is the best by far.
1) It works together with my notebook Synaptics touchpad. I can remove the USB transceiver whenever I want (I don't install the Logitech drivers; they interfere with Synaptics and cause problems if transceiver is removed during hibernation.)
2) It has a convenient finger-operated on/off switch to save batteries (I use rechargeable NiMH).
3) Comes with a soft carrying case for the mouse and transceiver.
Only problem is the mouse wheel button can't be programmed specially without loading the Logitech drivers. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Love this Mouse! Wednesday, May 04, 2005 Cynthia from Palo Alto, CA
Have tried other brands for our notebooks (and been disappointed with quality/functionality/compatibility), so we keep coming back to this one. It works flawlessly with Mac OS X and all flavors of Windows we've tried; is battery-sparing (even if you forget to turn it off); and is comfy to use. Buying 2 more today. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good buy! Thursday, April 14, 2005 Ryan from East Lansing, MI
I really like this mouse. It takes 5 minutes to install the software and then all you have to do it plug it and turn it on. Very very simple. How far is the range? It's far enough that I can't see the icon on the screen, so at least 50 feet. No problems with steel desks or anything. Only thing I dont like is that sometimes the click is a little loud in a silent library and I wish the USB part would store inside the body of the mouse. I'm always afraid I am going to lose it. Battery life is about 3 months using it 6 hours a day, 7 days a week. Very happy with it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome Mouse Thursday, March 10, 2005 Doug from Vista, CA
I just received this mouse last night and hooked up to a Mac G4 desktop computer. The installation was almost too simple. I replaced a different Logitech wireless optical mouse, one with the big base station made for a desktop. This one feels so much better. The USB station is about the size of a usb pen drive memory stick and fits well on the keyboard. The mouse itself has an on/off switch which will be nice to conserve battery life. It also has a quality carrying case if you want to transport it around with a laptop.
I am extremely happy with this purchase. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Flawless precision Tuesday, March 01, 2005 Murtuza from Sayreville, NJ
First of all I was very impressed with the carrying case which keeps it scratch resistant, also has a small section for the reciever. The mouse is smaller than conventional mice but very comfortable on the hand and wrist. True plug and play and the precision is flawless. I have had this mouse since the past 4 months now; I have just had to change the batteries now. The on-off switch at the bottom saves a lot of power when the mouse is not needed. I would recommend it as a very good buy for any kind of notebook or even a desktop. Was this review helpful?

I have been very pleased, for the most part, with this Logitech wireless mouse. My only beef has been the interference that my metal desk with a formica top created. 80% of the time it works fine. The other 20% the cursor moves in slow motion across the screen. Wood table or desk - no problem. Metal - no problem as long as you use a mouse pad (works flawlessly). So, for the most part I am pleased. Was only hoping that I could be mouse pad and cord FREE. I'll use the former as long as I can continue to have the latter. Was this review helpful?

If you have a notebook, this is a must-have mouse. On WinXP it installs without any drivers. . .true plug-and-play. clicking feels good but it feels a little "cheaper" than regular logitech mice. I love the On/off switch. . .travel pouch is nice too. Size is good for people with small hands (especially women) and occupies negligible space in my notebook backpack.
This logitech mouse is working flawlessly.
If you have a USB port in the back of your notebook, the receiver will stick out about 2 inches and could bump into things. A short extension cord would allow you to move the receiver to a more comfortable location. Oh well. . .very minor. Was this review helpful?

I've been using this mouse since it came out. Very easy to use, small usb receiver, good range. I even used it to switch slides during presentations. The only thing, the click is louder then other Logitech mice, but after a while you won't notice it. The carry case is awesome :)
Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?

I've had this mouse for almost 3 months now, and I'm still using the original batteries! I use the mouse 5 days a week and am amazed the batteries haven't run out yet. It has an on/off switch underneath so that it doesn't waste any power while not in use (or when traveling). The range is great (I've never lost a signal - not even once). The mouse pointer moves nicely and doesn't skip (unless it's on a bad surface, but that's rare). I highly recommend this mouse to any laptop user!!! Was this review helpful?
