After all the reviews I read, I was scared to see how the mouse would be... It took me 4 minutes to install and I was up and running. This is an EXCELLENT product and if you have only have around 60$ to spend on keyboards and mice, then get this. People complaining that this mouse really need to get a life.....

By far the best cordless keyboard that I have used. I would definitely recommend for a work environment. We bought three and use two of them in the same room with no problems.

As an IT Manager, I have used Logitech cordless keyboards for a few years and ordered lots of them for the people I support. When I ordered the LX700, I didn't notice in the picture that Logitech had changed the layout for the Insert/Delete and Home/End section. Once I started using the keyboard I had problems because I use the insert key a lot with commands such as SHIFT+INS, instead of inserting I found myself jumping Home all the time. The insert key is now a very thin, small key nestled in at the top of the keyboard with the rest of the function keys. Also, the function keys at the top of the screen are very thin, half-size, including the ESC key, which I use constantly - and this makes it very hard to hit. Lastly, typing on the keyboard has a very different feel from the Logitech MX Duo that I am accustomed to. The keys are about a 16th of an inch closer together and are coated with a slicker finish. I find that I am making a lot more typing mistakes. There are plenty of "bells and whistles" in reference to the media buttons and other button, however I am sure I will only use a fraction of them, mostly the volume dial and the play/forward keys that work with Media Player for playing music. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the keyboard and will either pass it along to someone else or return it in favor of keeping my Logitech MX DUO.

This is the best wireless keyboard/mouse I have ever used. It comes right out of the box ready to be used, I didn't even need to push the connect button. All you need to do is dl the disc and update it from logitech.com and your ready to go using your brand new lx700. The keyboard itself has amazing aray of functions to choose from, or you could cumtomized it to your liking. The mouse feels really comforable in your hand, also includes the back button for uses on the internet, for easy switch back. This wireless k/m is even better then the Logitech Mx Duo, from using both of them I would go for the Lx700 for its extra funtions that the Mx Duo lack. The price maybe a little high, but its worth the money to buy the best in wireless tech.

While it's a nice package over all, the keyboard apparently was not designed with the gamer in mind. Likely due to it's non-rechargable battery use in the keyboard, it doesn't work well when a sustained keypress (or multiple sustained keypresses) are attempted. I found that playing computer games using the keyboard as a "joystick" is simply not an option. Unfortunately, since gaming is fairly regular part of my computer use, this makes it worthless for me.
