5 of 5 great ps2 controller Wednesday, April 18, 2007 Darth Hongs from New York
I was looking for a wireless controller for the PS2 and tried many of the other brands out there, but nothing feels as solid and as comfortable as the logitech ones. I really like the receiver that plugs into the PS2 (short and stubby.. not like some other controllers which has a long dongle type receiver). The controllers fit well in your hands. The controls are smooth and responsive. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Worth every cent! Wednesday, November 29, 2006 Grandmaster B from Boise, ID
This Logitech wireless controller for the PS2 is one of the best electronic items I have ever purchased. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 VERY Pleased with this one. Friday, October 20, 2006 Scott from Des Moines, Iowa
I had another controller like this, but sold it with some of my old games. When I went back to the regular corded Sony controller, it threw me off a bit. The Logitech Wireless has some weight to it and seems more responsive in comparison to the Sony. It also works at ridiculous distances. I would say this is the absolute best controller for the PS2, whether there is a cord attached or not. You won't be disappointed.
I'm very happy with Buy.com's service, as well. I received my item in just a few days. And the price was the BEST on the web! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best controller for a console, period Wednesday, September 27, 2006 lazynerd from Spokane, WA
Logitech always makes amazing products, and this PS2 wireless controller is no exception. The analog sticks are deadly precise while the D-Pad is vastly improved from the default PS2 controller, the buttons are all fantastic as well. If you're unhappy with the regular controllers or just want a wireless, get this immediately.. you won't regret it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great! Sunday, September 17, 2006 A Gamer from bronx,ny
This is my first wireless controller I've ever owned & it is great.I wish I would have bought it sooner.
The Sony dualshock 2 that comes packaged w/ the ps2 feels too small. If you have big hands(like I do) you'll definitly like it.
Buy it.It's worth it. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 #1 Controller Tuesday, May 02, 2006 mppesek from Fargo, ND
I owned a wireless contoller and it lagged and had no range, i decided to but the Logitech and IT ROCKS! Need new batteries every 6 months, with pretty heavy gameplay.
Great Range, NO lag, it's the best investment for the PS2 by far. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome...Getting Use To It Friday, April 14, 2006 Johnny from Kansas City, MO
Just purchased it. It works fine with no lag even with online play. It does not have to be pointed directly at the console and still works well from about 13 feet away. The only problem I have is getting use to no wires and the weight. I keep looking for a cord and it's a little heavier. Give me a week or two and i'll be alright. Was this review helpful?

This controller works perfectly with the PS2, unlike some other cheap controllers this one has excellent response, and the battery life is very good. It even supports rumble mode, but you can turn it off to save juice. My next PS2 controller will be one of these for sure. The only slight downside is it's high compared to some cheaper alternatives, but you do get a quality product for that price. Was this review helpful?

There's no point arguing this since there isn't any argument. The Logitech Cordless Action Controller is hands down THE BEST controller on the market. The Dual Shock is a good controller, but the Cordless Action is just better in EVERY way and it's wireless and super responsive. It's been said a million times that you won't need your Dual Shock ever again after buying this controller. Do yourself a favor and jump on the bandwagon. You'll thank yourself. 5 of 5 The best wireless controller! Tuesday, November 08, 2005 Jerry from San Jose, CA
I had my doubts, but this is the closest thing to a flawless, wireless controller I have ever used. I'm using two of the same controllers side-by-side, and there's no crossover. I'm also using a 2.4GHz cordless phone, and there's no crossover there, either. I could just be lucky.
Vibration is good, but I turn it off to save battery.
Analog response is very good, although not perfect, and range is also very good (better than 10feet).
The only way I could be happier is if there were a cradle I could set these in to recharge, but if I get anywhere near the 100's of hours I'm supposed to get (with vibration off), I'll be thrilled to tears! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great controller for PS2 Monday, October 10, 2005 A Gamer from VT
I tried other wireless controller brands like Pelican before. They were cheaper but not so good. They were very fragile and most didn't have the Vibration function. Logitech controller is very comfortable to use, there is no setup process. You just turn on the console and press a button on the controller, you are ready to go. Everything on the controller is rock solid. I would definitely recommend this product over Sony's original Dual Shock Controller. Was this review helpful?

I've had my first controller for about a month. I just ordered a second, and I've already given two as gifts. I have not had to replace the battery yet. It's just like playing with the standard controller, but so much more convenient. No more wrapping up cords, no more sitting in front of the couch, and no more puppies running by and pausing your game, or worse, pulling the console power cord out! I was always hesitant to get a wireless controller, but the reviews on this one put my fears to rest, and I have no regrets! Was this review helpful?

This controller is no good for GT4, where you need precise throttle and brake control. It's difficult to modulate the analog function of the X/Sq buttons because of the click feedback built into it. It's either on or off and nearly impossible to modulate in the middle with any accuracy. Otherwise, it's all 5's. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Wireless Perfection Friday, January 14, 2005 vw151 from Columbus OH
I milled around looking for the right wireless controller for my Ps2 for a little while, I had recently purchased the wavebird for gamecube and realized how sweet having a wireless controller is. I was perplexed because sony did not offer an official playstation wireless controller but I decided on the logitech as they have a lot of experience in the wireless market. It was a great decision, no more wires stretching across the room and no loss in performance or feel.(seriously I am not sure but I might even like this controller better than my regular ps2 dualshock controller) I am not sure if I can say they bested the wavebird but it does include a rumble pack which can be disabled if you want, and an auto-off feature (controller turns off after a few minutes of inactivity) both of which are not included in the wavebird. Not to mention, the controller doubles as a DVD remote. I won't try and upset people by saying its better than the wavebird but hey... it performs as well and addresses the only 2 problems I saw with the wavebird, you be the judge. In all fairness the wavebird is rated as having longer battery life. Maybe that evens the field. Either way, I think I found something comparable to the wavebirds quality for my Ps2 and this makes me very pleased.

5 of 5 Best controller ever used Friday, December 24, 2004 Sal from SW FL
This controller is worth every penny. Besides being wireless, it's built very solid and feels firm and tight with every movement and button press. Overall a great controller! Was this review helpful?

I've always been a bit skeptical about third party peripherals, but finally! An official liscenced product from Sony. Logitech has always ruled the throne when it came to its Wireless technology and have once more proven themselves to be the best in the business! The moment i received this pad, and held it I was impressed. It is unbelievably comfortable, light, and responsive (NO LAG WHAT-SO-EVER!!!). The battery life is phenomenal, and the rumble feature that was implemented was a pleasant surprise! The buttons feel exactly like the Dualshock 2 if not better, with the exception of the D-pad and the "X" button. The "X" button is about a millimeter lower because of the contours of the controller. The Analog sticks have a descent amount of resistance, less than the regular controller, however after about a minute of play i guarantee, you won't notice. There was never a lapse in the signal strength at any time, i hooked my PS2 (SCPH-70012) up in my car and was able to step outside and play a great distance away. This one was actually the second one that i bought, and let me say, two Wireless controllers are better than one for sure! The signals don't get confused or interrupted, it's just simply amazing, by far better than the regular Dualshock 2! If you love Logitechs Cordless technology, this is a MUST HAVE!
