I spent a bunch of time reading reviews of these controllers before making the plunge. I had bought some wireless controllers for our ps2 4 or 5 years ago and they were very bulky and had an ever so slight delay in response. I ended up taking them back (they were $35 a piece, as well). These controllers are only slightly heavier than the wired controllers and we can't detect any delay whatsoever, even playing really fast paced games. It is soooo nice not to have cords draped and wadded up on the floor, and we were finally able to get the ps2 off of the floor after all these years. I guess you can tell I'm happy with this purchase.

This controller is very good. The range is great. The response is great. The battery life is great (turn off the shock). The ergonomics are great. I would only change the material of the joysticks. They are a hard plastic which sometimes allows my thumbs to slip off in the heat of the moment. I would change them to a high friction rubber like the original PS2 controller.
