5 of 5 unexpectedly good Tuesday, September 22, 2009 Liv from Newark NJ
Very good. Here it is why:
1. Works on both Windows and MacOS, instantly. Just plug the dongle and that's it. However, I didn't check it on Vista; just on XP.
2. Excellent quality for VoIP. Works flawlessly with Skype, Yahoo, MSN, you name it.
3. More than decent music sound quality.
4. Good battery life: 5 to 6 hours.
5. No interference with BlueTooth devices, although it works on 2.4 GHz, too.
6. The device is light and comfortable. Yes, people, it matters. Sometimes, I forget I have it on. Man, I wish I could connect it to my mobile :-)
7. The red LED at the tip of the microphone, showing when mic is off, very useful!
8. Cheap enough.

I actually like everything about the headphones, except the volume. for the price i would expect very loud output; it can be rather weak. other than that great remote headphones. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great Headset! Tuesday, March 03, 2009 Randy from Missouri
this is a wonderful product!
Battery life is good but will work just fine when connected to charger...if you are tired of fighting wires its a must-have!
(my only complaint is that they lowered the price by 10 bucks after I purchased the product!)

4 of 5 Great VOIP Headset Saturday, January 24, 2009 Clay Welsh from Sebring, FL
Pro: This headset is exactly what you need if you do a lot of VOIP communication, i.e., Skype, CQPhone, TeamSpeak, Echolink or Picophone, etc. I have not evaluated it for music but for communications its terrific.
Con: The "focus" of the headset is controled by the default audio and voice tabs in the "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" folder in the control panel of XP. This means the volume ctrl on the headset will control the default device. If using speakers, the up/down adjustment controls volume. When output to headset it has no effect. The only way to change this is to focus sounds & audio default to the headset. In which case you don't hear anything you would normally hear coming out of the speakers. This is not a problem but is a noted idiosyncricy.

I have gone through a bunch of headsets and by far this is the best. I went to wireless because the cord type were always breaking at the cord connecrion. This headset gives me freedom and is less likely to "break". I am using for audio and Skype. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Monday, January 19, 2009 A Customer from Coral Springs, FL
This product preforms great with a high speed Internet connection. We use it to make long distance calls all over the world and we are not tied down by a short cord. We can walk into other rooms. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to be free to just move around like cook or do the laundry or whatever. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 AWESOME! Saturday, November 22, 2008 A Customer from San Mateo, CA
I use the headset for Skype in an open office environment. Aside from the obvious benefit of freeing you from an annoying cord, the sound quality for listening to music is surprisingly excellent, and the noise suppression feature works well when trying to concentrate on important phone conversations in the aforementioned open office environment (read noisy). It also has easy to access volume and mute controls located right on one of the earpieces. Overnight charge lasts all morning, and then an additional lunchtime charge usually lasts for the remainder of the day. I highly recommend... Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great! Saturday, November 01, 2008 Heidi from Orlando, Florida
I always wondered why these cordless sets aren't more popular. I get up from my computer frequently to check the printer or to get papers from the other side of my desk, and it's a pain to alwyas have to untangle oneself from the cords. Also, you have to stop music and etc. I was disgruntled enough to invest a bit more in these headsets than I wanted to, but they are definitely worth it! Sound quality great! Range excellent. They have not needed recharging yet (have had them about 3 weeks) but I don't use them all day long, either. Definitely recommend!!! Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Vista: problems with Skype and audio transmission Wednesday, August 27, 2008 A Customer from Seattle, WA
I bought this headset only for use with skype video.
When I tried to set these up, Windows Vista would not recognize this headset as speakers AND microphone, so I had to mess wth the audio controls for an hour to get both the mic AND the speakers working. But even now, whenever I use skype, I have to manually select the logitech wireless headset in the skype options every time I make call. This is really not practcal.
I realize that Windows Vista may be part of the problem, but I have not experienced any other major problems like this on my Vista Desktop.
Once I reset the options they are amazing, but switching back and forth between computer speakers and headset speakers is apparently too much for my HP Vista desktop.
In addition, these really didn't work with by Belkin usb hub. I pluged in the receiver and only received small bits of sound.
Then I pluged the reveicer in at the back of my desktop and now the sound quality is amazing........once the headset works that is
Pros:
not too bulky
long battery life
20 ft. wireless transmission
practical mute functions
Cons:
almost too small for larger heads
problems with Skype and windows audio configuration

Very easy to install. No drivers CDs or downloads. Just plug it in and it automatically installs. Pretty cool. Has a volume adjustment on the headset itself, which actually adjusts the computer's sound volume, not just the headset volume. The quality of the mic is pretty good, but I think it could be better, hence my 4/5 rating. I've used another wired headset that cost about $15 and the quality is better. The range is accurate, in fact, I can walk into the next room and it still pick up. I love this headset - no wires! Was this review helpful?

Fairly comfortable for a larger headset. Clear sound in earphones and mike. Worked fine out of the box with my Ubuntu system, no problems recognizing it. I'd recommend this to others. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 I love 'em Monday, August 11, 2008 Joe from Lawrenceville, GA
I bought these mainly for watching video and playing games on my PC. These are easy to use, last quite a while on a charge (3-5 hrs), and are comfortable to wear. Pretty decent sound quality for me. But it's not top notch. Then again I'm not a real audiophile so it's more than enough for me. I use Teamspeak and my online friends say I sound "Weird" now. Not like I use too. Also you can hear yourself when talking to others. Which doesn't bother me too bad. It doesn't seem to do it all the time and when it does happen it's relatively low. But, according to other reviews, this has been a big problem for some. I also enjoy the freedom of roaming now without the cord. Hallelujah. I thoroughly enjoy this product. Was this review helpful?
