Overall this is a good headset for simple things, however I was very disappointed with how well it worked with speech recognition, which was my main reason for buying it. I had a very cheap plastic microphone which had broken but it worked much better. Logitech has always seemed to have good products, but this one was a disappointment. Was this review helpful?

I bought these for my wife's use with Skype. They have been excellent. I couple of things could have been better: the ear cups are smaller and "on" vs. "over" the ear; The microphone only rotates ~160 degrees is only for left-side use. No drivers needed with even our 6-year old Desktop PC or my new laptop. We could hear good and this eliminated all feedback of open speakers and noise canceling microphone just picked-up the operator's voice and not TV, radio or conversations near in the background. I have purchased many Logitech headsets and other products and never disappointed. Paying a little more for the next model also overcomes the very minor limitations I mentioned. I got these when they were only $15. I have to say, they're the best headphones ive ever used. sound quality is 10/10 i havent tested the microphone yet, but it works fine for my voice commands on Mac! its amazing how easy it is to set up. just plug in, and boom, its done. no drivers or anything even though its USB based. I bought this for my sons PS3. He just loves it and says the earphones are so comfortable on his ears. He also said the mic was slick and didn't get in the way. The sound is crystal clear and the price was so affordable. If he breaks this one as he goes through them fast I will definitly purchase another one. Got this headset from Buy.com during a incredible sale. Haven't received rebate yet, but it's still early.
Product is plug-n-play. No experience with headsets, so don't know how much better / worse it is than others.

This is the first of these kind of products I bought.
All you have to do is plug in the product into the USB. It automatically connects itself. For me, I can use it on my desk top or any of my laptops. I just used for listening so far. The sound is good. Only thing I noticed is. if I keep the head phones very long time, my ears stat to hurt a bit. May be my ears are too sensitive!!! Was this review helpful?

Great product, was previously using a logitech stereo mini head set the USB worked perfectly with my game, all I had to do is plug it in before I lauch. The quality is better then my old set. The headphones are fantastic for xfire-type programs and such, but are about mediocre for music listening and such. The earbuds become uncomfortable after many hours of use, but if you're just using them for a couple hours at a time they are fine. I like the headphones. They are really comfortable and pretty light weight. I haven't had them for very long, but they seem to be holding up pretty well. I haven't used the mic though. I'd suggest these to anyone who needs to replace their old headphones. The USB really cleaned up my audio signal for teamspeak and ventrilo, and they're a lot more comfortable than my older logitech models. They're a much higher quality than I was expecting. I bought this headset for use with Skype. It is a quality stereo headset with very clear reception and no noise. The sound is crystal clear! It almost feels like the person on the other end is in the room with me! I am very satisfied with this product.
