Though she was initially known only around her Washington, D.C., home base, word of her talents began to grow--though unfortunately only after her tragically early death in 1996 from cancer at the age of 33. She gained a huge posthumous following in England, which eventually spread back to her own country. The only shame is that she wasn't around to enjoy it. |
