5 of 5 A disappointment Friday, December 05, 2008
Grammy from Riverside, CA

I searched for the right camera to get my two-year-old grandson for his birthday and I decided on this one. It seemed very uncomplicated and I liked the look of it. Here's what I discovered after I bought it. The battery compartment is extremely difficult to get back together after you put in the batteries. It's hard to figure out how the batteries go in because the instructions and the diagram on the camera don't agree with each other. The mirror on the front - which I thought was a great feature so he could take pics of himself - was a bust because it doesn't line up with the lens at all so what you see in the mirror is not even close to what ends up in the picture. The LCD display is so-so but when you review the pictures, each one you take is numbered in the display, like 0001, and the numbers are so big that they hide nearly all of the picture. This defeats the whole purpose of a digital camera for a toddler to have fun with. His most fun thing is to instantly see the picture he just took. The bottom line is, it didn't deliver the features that I most wanted in a camera for a toddler who loves snapping pix with his Mom's digital. This one is going back and I'm off to buy another brand.

1 of 5 Very, very disappointing Friday, December 05, 2008
Lynn from PA
The time delay on once you hit the button until the photo is taken is way to long for a child to stand still. I couldn't even stand still that long. It comes with virtually no instructions, and it didn't work with our PC (which does meet the specs indicated). The picture quality on the LCD is horrible... very fuzzy. We were not able to see them on the PC because that feature did not work as advertised. We returned ours immediately.

1 of 5 Don't dissapoint your child with this like I did Friday, December 05, 2008
Danielle from Virginia Beach, VA
I bought this camera for my 4 year old. The idea is good, but the camera is junk. It may look nice and durable but lets face it we buy a camera to take pictures. The picture quality was aweful. I wasted my money and dissapointed my child. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

1 of 5 worse than what i thought Friday, December 05, 2008
anna from independence, missouri
okay, i knew this wasn't going to be awesome. i did think it would be fun for my 3 1/2 year old twin girls. the problem is the shutter button is on the front of the camera instead of the top, so it is hard to reach. then you must hold it down for at least 3-5 sec. before it takes the picture. and not only that, but you must have VERY steady hands to keep the subject in your photo from being blurry. the picture quality on the screen is so out of focus that you can really only recognize shapes so i wouldn't even consider printing. it's okay for the price and the age of my kids, but once they get a little older and get a clue they're going to realize that this camera isn't worth the effort. so i suppose in the long run it's a waste of money...even for a three year old.

This is a great first camera for a preschooler. If your looking for a great quality picture this camera is not for you but as a first camera it is perfect. My son cannot put it down and it is great insight to what is important to him.

4 of 5 Curious Fun Thursday, October 09, 2008
Shadow from San Francisco, CA
Our 4-year-old is always trying to play with our gadgets so I loved being able to give him his own...with no restrictions. It doesn't have the best picture, but that was expected. Still, it's a great kid camera. He loves being able to take and review his own pictures, and we love seeing what he finds picture-worthy. Upload was a breeze.
