Sarah Ferguson (the Duchess of York) presents another tale of Little Red and her cohorts Gino the Dog, Little Blue, and Roany the Pony (who plays a particularly pivotal role in this installment). They're on their way to Christmas Tree Wood to chop down a tree, dropping off cinnamon sticks with the mice and shortbread for the robins along the way. They run into a grounded Santa, nursing a sick reindeer and consequently unable to fly his sleigh. Little Red supplies some magic dust for her pony so Roany can pull the sleigh through the sky along with the seven healthy reindeer. Unusual new words appear in the narrative, including "fantabuloso" and "yippeedoodledan."
