Urbania, Ohio is home to the O'Shea brothers, Danny (Rick Moranis) and Kevin (Ed O'Neill). Ex-football star Kevin's name is on the town water tower. The phonebook is about the only place you'll find Danny's name. Year after year, his brother's successes loom over Danny like that water tower. but when Coach Kevin cuts Danny's child "Icebox" from the Pee-Wee football team, Danny isn't taking it anymore.

A pair of brothers take sibling rivalry a bit too far as opposing coaches in a local Pop Warner football league. Several big-name football players make cameo appearances as tutors for the smaller team of misfit players, whose trek against the odds is led by a hard-hitting little girl.
Plot Summary
The Giants, a kids' football team whose players are somewhat lacking in brawn, have to go up against a group of beefy young gridiron talents. Worse yet -- or so it first appears -- the Giants are led by... a girl! It seems as if winning is out of the question; they're more worried about coming out of the competition in one piece.| But their fearless female leader might be all this "little team that could" needs to survive -- and win.
