5 of 5 Very Good Wireless Card Wednesday, June 13, 2007 Dekhr from Houston, Texas
The card runs great at 108mpbs, connecting to a Linksys WRT54GX4 router. Super signal, no drops, and sees more networks in the neighborhood. Easy set up, just follow instructions from Linksys technical support (online) and your good to go. I had other reasons for getting the WRT54GX4 router, but this card works great in the SRX400 router system. Highly recommended card. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works great! Monday, May 14, 2007 J Lacar from Lewis Center, OH
Quick and easy setup, was up and running in 15 minutes. The cable is no hassle to hook up since all the wires are arranged so that all you have to do is line them up to the connectors and screw them tight. Getting excellent connection to my WAP and even some of my neighbors' WAPs (not that I'm taking advantage of that). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 i love it & it's so easy to use Monday, May 14, 2007 Long from el monte, ca
installation was easy & i just used my win xp to connect to my router instead of the provided software. the coaxial cables are a bit short (about 3ft) but that's not an issue. it picked up my router instantly & got me connected asap. i've noticed my bandwidth limit has gone up by 10-25 kbps in comparison to using the wired ethernet hub. overall, i'm enjoying the product. 5 of 5 Worth the cost... Tuesday, April 24, 2007 A Customer from Austin, TX
I purchased this along with a WRT54GX Router. The desktop is upstairs and in the back bedroom, it runs at 100 plus all day. I ran the cd, installed the PCI card and turned on the computer, highlighted my network and off it went. Too easy. Thanks Linksys! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 This wireless PCI a great booster Saturday, April 07, 2007 Michale Stokes from Orange City, IA
I had a home (client) that I was having difficulty getting a strong connection on an 802.11G wireless network with a standard PCI wireless card. The customer was not happy with it either. I stumbled upon the WMP54GX and I liked the specs. I received it, it was an easy setup and the connection was 100%. I would not ask for anything better. I recommend this to anyone having location issues. You could move your router but why; then you have to have phone line moved if it is DSL. Just purchase the WMP54GX. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 It did not work with me Monday, April 02, 2007 A Customer from Wisconsin
I read the review from other customers that had bought the same product. Let tell you something, this product did not work with me.
All the SRX feacture did not increase the wireless bars. Right now, I am getting the same raising bar of wireless connection that I was getting before with the cheaper wireless card. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 exactly what I expected Friday, March 02, 2007 A Customer from Pacifica, CA
My previous wireless card (from Microsoft) turned out to be incompatible with Windows XP SP2. I ordered this Linksys card after reading several very positive reviews at another site, and it's everything I'd hoped. The card installed without any problems. The external antenna, connected to the card via a short cable, sits on the computer table behind the monitor and adds a lot of range. Not only is the home network signal consistently stronger than it was before (and consistently at the maximum speed), but the unit picks up five other networks nearby (we live on a cul de sac with detached houses that are not that close to each other). I'm very well pleased. Was this review helpful?
