There is no other way to say it but WOW. Although I really wish they would get the price down on these things, if you haven't experienced Media Center 2005, you will be impressed. This device allows you to extend the MCE 2005 experience of an existing MCE computer to another room in your house. It is MUCH less than another PC to do the same, but still close to the price of a good TV. I have an HP z545-h MCE 2005 in the livingroom, and this device let me also have that same access to my Music, recorded TV, etc. in my upsatirs guest room / workout gym. Very creative idea, just needs more competition than the available Linksys/HP models to get the price more reasonable.
In a previous review, the only reason it got rated low was a misunderstanding about what the device was intended for. You MUST have an exiting Media Center Edition PC to use this box. Was this review helpful?

Really nice unit.. looks like it is put together well. The remote felt better than the competition (D-Link, Pinnacle).
BUT.... You have to have Windows XP Media Center (new version) to use this. I have XP pro and had to return it. The first call to Linksys Tech Support said it should work but the next tech said no way. Was this review helpful?
