2 of 5 Url Blocking Unsatisfactory Wednesday, November 28, 2007 gregdinn@yahoo.com from Charlotte, NC
The URL Blocking doesn't work out of the box. Tech Support says it's defective, but everything else works. The last Linksys router I got had to have a BIOS upgrade for this function to work. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Packaged Deal Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Lawson from Martinsville, Va.
I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I shopped around before making my purchase and found that to purchase each component seperately would cost over $100.00
I was able to purchase both for less than $60.00 after shipping. You really cant beat the type of deal. The product itself works great, I use it with my laptop and I can literally use it in any room of the house without a reduction in speed. I even tested the connection speed in the basement and found no decrease. I highly recommend the product. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 smooth performance Tuesday, November 27, 2007 A Customer from Raleigh, NC
Easy to install. Nice software which keeps track of all LAN activity. Highly recommend to all, both novice and expert. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Worth the money Wednesday, September 26, 2007 Stu from Sterling, VA
This is the first wireless router I've installed and is well worth the money for what we use it for. The installation is not a simple as it seems, but Linksys help desk can talk you through the set up and get it working pretty quick. We have two laptops running on this and at has not let us down so far, always connects and at 'good' or better connection. The range is not very far though, slight draw back, but at this price I can live with that. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 It's no Netgear Tuesday, August 14, 2007 A Customer from Kansas City, MO
Poor performance, I should have stayed with Netgear. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Deal, Great Product Tuesday, August 14, 2007 A Customer from MPK, CA
It is extremely cheap for this product and I've already gotten notified about the rebate. The rebate on this is one of the fastest I've seen. Great combination for starters on wireless networking if you are planning to live in college since it comes with the laptop cardbus. I've used them both and they are both really great. Though there is a glitch when you have too much bandwidth coming in, it sometimes freezes up. I dunno how to solve that problem yet but other than that it is a great product for that price. 3 of 5 Installating the Linksys Router Tuesday, August 07, 2007 Curtis Hill from Cheshire, CT
Installation procedures did not help solve installation problems for the WKPC54G router.
Problems required calling Linksys technical support. They resolved the problem by providing an alternate IP address for the router so it did not conflict with the IP address for the modem. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Buy for the money Monday, March 05, 2007 Brady from Overland Park, KS
After researching many other products, had no problem installing the product. I had my doubts, but after about 35min. I was up and running. I would definately recommend for first time users. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product - great bundle Saturday, February 10, 2007 A Smith from Talladega, AL
For those who have laptops like me that need the card - this bundle works great.
Quick access to high speed, plus having the protection of a router - and the card works very well too. I have no problems working within the house.
Just had to call Linksys to get some settings right, but they were more than helpful. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Good Product, Good Price. Saturday, September 25, 2004 A Customer from Freedom, PA
Overall this is a good product for the price. It can be a little difficult to set up if you're new to networking, as it doesn't really come with the greatest instructions, but once it's set up it works great and has a great signal range. Was this review helpful?

I purchased the combo on 7-29-04 and it was backordered for a couple of weeks. The router was a hassle to install since the instruction on the CD forget to mention that you need to turn off the computer and when it boots up the CD does not take you back to were you left. So I called Linksys support and in less than 5 minutes the router was operational. I am a little disappointed since I verified that the G card would work on my laptop running on MS ME and since there was no way for me to make it work I contacted Linksys and they told me that the G card was having problems connecting to MS 98, 98 2nd edition and ME. They recommended either return the card and purchase a B or change my operating system. I am still undecided on what to do. The card worked perfectly on my other laptop running on MS 2000. Speed is great and I have access in every corner of the house. The router is superb as well as the card as long as you have the right OS on your system. Was this review helpful?
