5 of 5 Love it Thursday, January 08, 2009 Chris from Oak Ridge, Tennessee
I got this for my laptop. I was going to get a "laptop card", but decieded to get this instead so that i could port it from machine to machine. I was worried about the speed and the connectivity of this product. It turns out that my concerns were completly unfounded. I have had NO issues with this and the speed is more than adequate for my laptop. My only wish was that this product was plug and play. But from prior experience I know Linksys has all its drivers available online, so I'm not too concerned about that. Overall a great product. Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 connection dropped Sunday, December 28, 2008 A Customer from New Jersey
Do not call for tech support for installation. They can't help. You will spend lots of the time on the phone and got nothing. I have to keep turn off the internet and re-connect. Once it connected. it back to 54mbps. Also you have to use Linksys router for easy installation.

5 of 5 Wireless adapter, works great with XP or 2000 Monday, March 31, 2008 A Customer from Lindenhurst, NY
Product worked great, no problems, with Windows XP and 2000. On 2000, it's helpful to use the included software to access the wireless network. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Easy to install and works great Sunday, March 23, 2008 KC from Raleigh, NC
I bought this one because I already own one which works great. It costs more than some of the other adapters, but I think it is worth the money. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Vista and Xp wireless Friday, March 21, 2008 Allen from Wishram Wa.
I have this in two computers. One is a Vista operated e-machines and the other is a XP based older USB 1.0 machine. It works great with both machines. Very simple to use and to set up. Recommend for anyone. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 It works! Sunday, March 02, 2008 Jon from Travis AFB, CA
Pro: It works and just like any other wireless adapters, this one works well. Good news is, it works on VISTA too. I had no problem thus far.
Con: When you plug in by itself, it takes a lot of room space, meaning if you have another USB connector below, it's hard to insert another USB adapter or flash drive without bending it and if you have a cd/dvd drive next to that USB connector, it will block the door. Now I use the extra cable that it came with it to help cope the problem. Was this review helpful?

Bottom line: easy to install and get up and running.
These devices are overpriced in my opinion. The Linksys adapter does not "see" all the connection points for some reason and only connects to "G" band. Other brands have no issue seeing other connection points and bands.
Buy.com had the best price at the time purchased. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Easy install without a problem Saturday, December 22, 2007 Mike M from Redondo Beach, CA
I bought this for a client's new slimline computer running XP. Plugged it in and it worked 1st time. Linksys has been getting better since Cisco bought them and I would highly recommend this product. Was this review helpful?
