Works flawlessly, but a little difficult to get the serial port working at first. You kind of have to figure it out yourself as I got no help from the install process. Once the serial port is installed it works well and has great range. I needed an additional one of these for another laptop. On the first one it still works but the antenna is loose and I'm in fear that it might and cease working. Was this review helpful?

A cute little device; simple to install and operate. The antenna rotates upward, too. Nice that Linksys installed a USB extension cord so I don't have to reach around to the back of my PC. I like it! I have a Kensington USB Bluetooth adapter on my work PC, and the range on that device is less than this Linksys device. The documentation that comes with the kit is simple to follow, even for a novice. Right clicking on the icon in the system tray to add a new bluetooth device is also simple and intuitive. I bought this because I wanted to use my bluetooth headset on Skype and it works flawlessly. I had it up and running in a half hour. I called Linksys before buying this product and they said it wouldn't work with Skype but after reading the product info I figured I'd buy this and try it out. Linksys said they would look into it and call me back so if Linksys is reading this post - It works...
It's a little more than plug and play but if you have a little patience and like to tinker a little this product is for you.
I gave it a 5 on all but ease of use I gave this a 3 because I can see someone without patience sending this product back. Was this review helpful?

This is a great product. Was easy to steup and has great range.
The only drawback is the antenna. `If you have a kid or you want to carry it in the pocket then it can be a little cumbersome. Was this review helpful?
