    For my wireless hardware I like to match my router hardware with the adapter if possible. I feel like the same brand will play better together, I also have had good luck with Linksys hardware. For an internal wireless N card linksys currently offers two options. This is one and it seems to work well. It picks up a good signal from the other side of my one story house through several walls and a large entertainment center. As with any Linksys adapter, I would recommend skipping the install on the CD - I dislike unnecessary software. Install the card and wait for Windows to ask for the drivers. Then pop in the disc and browse to the drivers folder. I'd buy it again if needed.
