The fridge is very well designed in most respects; I love the french door top fridge and bottom freezer. The thing maintains temperature very well; the filter for the water and ice maker is extremely convenient to access and change; the ice-maker makes absolutely perfect ice--separate cubes, solid, and good sized; and the drawers in the fridge are very clever. A couple of annoyances: 1) whenever you open the drawer in the freezer to get ice or something from the basket, the ice sensor arm knocks a bunch of ice out and onto the freezer bottom--where you can't reach it; 2) the water that is dispensed still tastes weird even a month after I bought it--it's like the plastic just hasn't settled down and still leaches into the water. This refrigerator sits directly next to a stainless Jenn-Air stove and you can barely tell the difference. It is a better choice for a fridge because Titanium is more scratch resistant and allows a magnet to stick. It is a closer match to stainless than sateen, which is quite dark. Seko, the freight company, does not deliver inside so you have to bring it in the house yourself, but the driver did help into the garage with the very large unit. Be prepared to measure your door's width. It needs every bit of the 35" recommended without removing the doors.
It is beautiful, inside and out and got an excellent rating from Consumer Reports. You can't miss with this deal, and best of all no tax & shipping. Get em while they last!!! Was this review helpful?

Received the fridge in less than a week with budget shipping. Also, LG's customer service is excellent...I had a small piece broken during shipping and they promptly shipped a new one to my house free of charge.
This refrigerator retails for much more than the buy.com price, and with no shipping charges you can't beat it.
As for the quality of the fridge, it looks very good. This is the titanium color, not the stainless steel version, they're similar but titanium doesn't show fingerprints nearly as bad. Was this review helpful?

This model is also sold at Sears with a Kenmore Elite badge on it for $700 more. You can't beat this price with free shipping. Delivery was fast and the new fridge looks great.
No complaints so far, but some of the reviews on the Kenmore Elite version indicate a problem with Ice occasionally spilling onto the freezer floor from the icemaker. I haven't noticed that problem yet, though. Was this review helpful?

I have the black version of this fridge and paid a lot more than Buy.com's price. I like the fact that you can store something very wide (for example a pizza box) in it. It is a good product and has not had any problems. BUT, it requires a new proprietary water filter every six months and they are outrageously expensive at over $50 each. Be sure you have room on both sides so the doors can fully open. In other words, don't install it in a corner. Was this review helpful?
