5 of 5 Great Printer Friday, January 25, 2008 A Customer from Burlington, KY
I set aside my HP All-In-One for the Lexmark and have not looked back. I've had the Lexmark for several months now and am totally satisfied with this purchase. It is easy to set up, easy to use, doesn't use too much ink, and if you set it to "draft", it prints very quickly using a minimum amount of ink. Much to my surprise, the photos I've printed are the closest to lab quality I have seen. I've had no issues with software like I did with the HP. The replacement ink cartridges are reasonably priced.
One thing to note is do not change your cartridges when you are notified. You will still have plenty of ink left. You'll know when to change the cartridge by the quality of the printing. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Major Disappointment Wednesday, November 28, 2007 frankfx@yahoo.com from San Francisco, CA
I have not been successful using this printer on my LAN at home using the wired network or the wireless network. I am using XP pro
on my PC. The printer will intermently not print when a job is sent to it. The Status Bar of a print job comes up on the desktop and
stops at 10 or 15% and locks up. The printer does nothing. Power
cycling the printer, or my router, or my PC (reboot) fixes the problem 15% of the time. It is very frustrating. I have used the
Lexmark chat 3 times now with no luck. I have tried reinstalling
the driver, updating the printer firmware, fixing the IP address of the printer on the LAN, on and on... I have done everything that was requested by the chat people @ lexmark with no satifaction. I have not been able to convince lexmark to replace my printer, so I am not satisfied. The copy feature works good.
The bluetooth print feature worked fine with a belkin BT dongle. I was able to print a picture from my MotoT551 cell phone. The fax works good too, but, sad to say, the network print funcitonality is worthless. I was also frustrated by the Lexmark chat help system that forced me to repeat possible fixes that I had tried the last time I chatted with them. I wasted 2 hours one saturday to get to the same point I was at when I started that morning. If you are attracted to this printer for the network connection (wired or wireless), steer clear. 5 of 5 Lexmark 9350 Wednesday, November 28, 2007 A Customer from Snohomish, WA
I have this printer networked with a Vista PC(Wired); a XP home PC-wireless, and laptop XP-Pro-wireless.
Installation was easy. Just make sure the computers are networked first.
The only problem I had was scanning was not working.
I had to USB plugged it to my Vista computer to be able to use the scan application.
Price was great with a $100 rebate and free shipping. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great price for an all in one Tuesday, May 29, 2007 dipanjan from Housotn, TX
It is an awesome printer having all the features of scanning, printing, faxing and copying. It can also make color copies. Bit slow but for this price it is a steal for all the service you can get. On the con this has an ink cartridge that gets used up pretty fast. Also something like this in laser would be better. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Get the port selector from the website before you Friday, May 25, 2007 Vctor from Alajuela, Costa Rica
It is a great wireless product, yes it is... some people say it is not working on wireless but that is not true, first of all simple setup the printer via USB cable, then enter the right values and if you have WEP wireless authentication (or any other), please ensure to enter the right info.
It is working via wireless with a Linksys WRT54G Wireless Router with WEP, non-automatic key (not the #1), MAC Address filter and all the security you can imagine... LinkSys filter asks for a MAC address so you can use the one built in or you can edit an IDENTIFIER (nice feature) for the printer and you are ready to go. It works even on MS-Windows Vista.
TIP: go to the LEXMARK Web Site/FTP and get the PORT SELECTOR utility, it is useful when the ports get mixed (it may or may no happen). It even works on VPN networks. It only requires patient to look for what it is looking for (THE PORT, so check that). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 sleepless in PA Friday, May 18, 2007 anthonychiodi@verizon.net from Lake Ariel, PA. 18463
Only two days ago I purchased a lexmark printer all in one model#9350. I thought the price was great. bought it on line from Buy.com. The wireless printer was delivered within 24 hours. It's a complicated machine because of the many features it has. I'm only learning all of its functions now. It was easy to purchase, quick to deliver, easy to get it runnining and a blessing to have. The only difficulty I encountered was that the CD driver did not work for my new vista labtop. After several attempts to download the driver from their CD I finally called Lexmark support and was connected to a Tony in Canada who walked me through downloading a compatable drive through their website. After getting my network key and security code from Verizon it was smoothe sailing; I mean surfing. Was this review helpful?

Successfully installing the drivers and connecting via wi-fi proved impossible with the included software (on a iMac G5 running OS 10.4.9). Managed to connect okay after downloading drivers from the Lexmark website, but now cannot consistently connect to printer. The solution seems to be to reinstall the drivers, which is a pain to say the least.
My other complaint is that printing is the only feature available over wi-fi. That is probably stated somewhere, but it wasn't very clear to me. If you're buying this thing for scanning and media card reader functions, you're going to have to plug it into the computer or a wired network.
All that said, this is certainly a nice all-in-one and a good value. If Lexmark can sort out the connection issues for Macs, my opinion would improve. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 The price is right Monday, April 16, 2007 jimtd@cox.net from Tucson, AZ
Found the printer very easy to install and use. My main intent for the printer was 2 sided printing. This does a very good job and pleased with the output and Price. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good value, OK printing Sunday, April 15, 2007 A Customer from Dudley, MA
On sale for $154 this AOI was half the price of the equivalent HP AOI and quite a bit less than anyone else had for a sale price. I haven't tried the wireless setup yet, but it was easy to set up and use on my ethernet network and hooked to one PC with the USB connection. Everything works well, although printing could be slightly better. I don't print many photos at home and haven't used photo paper yet, but a couple printed on plain paper were not too good. My old Epson Stylus Color 760 was significantly better on plain paper photos. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 great deal on a top of the line all in one Saturday, April 14, 2007 DJ from greater DC area
Easy setup via usb cable to my 2 computers. Had to download the Vista drivers as 1 of my pc's is a Vista pc. Setup was cake! Put the printer in the hallway and it prints like a champ via Wi-Fi. That's the big reason I went wireless - to free up cables and room in my computer area. This printer did the trick. In 2 weeks, only had 1 print problem - reboot on my XP laptop did the trick. This prints fast and the quality is good. I'm really happy. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Silky smooth transaction Thursday, April 12, 2007 Mike from Texas
Everything went as it should. The price was very good, the printer was shipped to my door in 5 days, and now that I am using the printer I can say that it is everthing promised and more. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Outstanding Value Thursday, April 05, 2007 A Customer from Fuquy Varina, NC
This is a great performer. Especially for the price! We've had it for about a week and so far couldn't be happier.
The only negative is the somewhat clunky install procedure for wireless. You need to be careful to ignore Windows' incessant need to try and auto install USB drivers for the printer while you're running the Lexmark setup application. The procedure is documented quite well so I had no issues. The front panel controls are very easy to use and the screen very readable.
The ink tanks are large so I'm hopeful that it will be economical to operate as well. Was this review helpful?
2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Great price but printing is slow Thursday, March 15, 2007 A Customer from Portland, Maine
The price for this printer was about $100 below what I would have paid locally so you can't beat that! I'm not impressed with the print speed. It seems to print about 2ppm with your basic text document with small color pictures. Printing a standard 4x6 photo took a little over 2 minutes. I didn't buy it for the speed as I have a laser printer for the bulk of my printing. I bought it for the price and the built in wireless. Wireless is not compatible with DLink model DI-624S so I had to purchase another router. I'm assuming it wouldn't be compatible with the DI-624 either since they are very similar routers. I ended up purchasing a LinkSYS WRT54G which works great. Was this review helpful?
