Lexmark X6675 Professional Wireless All-in-One with Fax Inkjet Printer - 20R1700 - High Yield Inks!

We have had the printer for a few days. The setup was easy. The quality was great for our home use. The wireless hookup was easy. The copier function had good quality, albeit a tad slow. Otherwise great deal. The instructions for configuration were very straight forward. I liked that you had the option of which software products to select rather than being forced to install a bunch of products that you might not use. It did require initially connecting via USB first but that was not a problem for me. Also, if you use MAC Address filtering on your router, remember to grab the MAC address ID off the back of the printer and add it to your router before you start. Past experience also shows that the Lexmark print cartridges can usually be refilled manually. I believe that is still the case. Also, Lexmark has a good return cartridge program. One gotcha. We discovered that after installing the printer drivers that on subsequent reboot of the system no Internet programs would work and the system was sluggish. After approximately 15 minutes things started to work again. System event logs showed that the Browser Service would not start. We also use a MS Home Server which I believe adds to the issue. I believe with Lexmark printers there are known issues with service startup dependencies that can cause this issue. We went to the Lexmark support site and downloaded patch "5600-6600patchforslowboot.exe" and this fixed everything. For the price you can't beat the deal. Good job Lexmark.

This all-in-one is a fantastic buy! No more cords holding you back. The scanner is great on this. Clear, crisp pictures. You can also print from an SD Card or jump drive. I am glad I purchased this item.

The only concern I had with this product is that after scanning batch of documents, it produce a rattling sound on startup. Customer support confirm that there is indeed a problem. I got a replacement and so far it work great.

So far the x6675 is doing just fine for me. It looks nice and professional, the prints look fine, and setup was smooth and straightforward. Just follow the directions for the USB setup first, then do the wireless setup thereafter. I especially like the document scanner feeder on top. Another useful detail I noticed is that the paper guides fold away and the control panel folds down flat so nothing sticks out. This way printer can easily be moved or put into a closet without breaking the fragile plastic pieces. It goes into sleep mode when it's not being used, so the first print can take an extra minute to get started. Colors prints are not outstanding, but this is an inkjet, not a photo printer. I really like printing from wherever I am, and not having to carry the laptop to the printer.

I bought this printer not knowing anything about wireless printers and their set up. I wanted to run this to my pc and 2 laptops. I was surprised how easy it was to set up on all 3 computers on vista and xp. I've had no problems whatsoever with this printer. I have not used the scanner yet and have no plans to use the fax but for the price this was a great purchase. When I first took it out of the box I thought it would be too big to fit where the old printer was but the looks of it were decieving because it fit right where the old one was. I have purchased a lot of different items from buy.com and once again I am completely satisfied with product, support and delivery. I always use budget shipping and no product has ever taken more than 4 days to arrive at my door.

I got a great price from Buy.com for this Lexmark X6675 Professional Wireless All-in-One with Fax Inkjet Printer. It came in a timely manner in good shape. I had it up and running in a short time. The only problem I had was I ordered extra capacity Lexmark No.37XLA High Yield Tri-Color Ink Cartridge and they don't fit this printer. The same with the Lexmark No.36XLA High Yield Black Ink Cartridge. They also don't fit either. I got a RMA for both and am waiting for credit for them from Buy.com. Part of the problem is the guys in sales should have checked that these fit this printer and in all fairness I should have checked also. The cartridges I needed is 43XL and 44XL High Yield Print Cartridges.

Love that it goes into powersave mode when not in use and then wakes up when a print job is sent. And for the price I got it for, you just can't beat it.

I was looking for a home printer/scanner and needed wi-fi. I stumbled across this in a 'weekly deals' email and researched it before buying. This has been an excellent purchase. I went with the free shipping and it still arrived next day. Set up was easy, color printing is good and the scanner is better than expected. This is for home use and I don't print every day. It was on sale for about $85 when I bought it and I'm very glad I did.

I followed the instructions and the only problem was that I had to turn on my desktop computer to get the wireless working. The software straightened it out quickly and all is well. I couldn't be more satisfied. I use this with my laptop. I ordered with standard shipping and it was delivered in four days. Very pleased with Buy.com. Five stars and a big smile. :-)

Easy to setup and use. Sits in powersave mode 99% of the time, but no problem coming back up on the wireless network to print. Best deal around for an all-in-one with fax.

The Lexmark 6675 was extremely easy to set up on my wireless network. Unusually, the steps shown in the included software cd conformed to reality precisely. Out of the box and operating in 10 minutes. All necessary cables were included, even the USB cable used only during the setup process. Though I have the printer far from my wireless router, there is never a problem with signal strength. The print quality is all I had hoped for and the other functions work very well. The OCR software makes scanning a really usable feature. I am very pleased with the product and the quick service from Buy.com

This is a great printer at a great price. It prints really fast. There is a bug where it can cause a slow boot up on your computer, but there is a down loadable fix at the Lexmark site. If you have it connected to your regular phone line it will come out of sleep mode every time you use your phone.

Having suffered through many different printers from many different manufacturers, I am delighted with the Lexmark X6675. Easy to install, works very well, prints beautifully (documents and color and photos). All I expect from a personal printer. And, as usual, buy.com is terrific to work with.

Easy set up, reasonable size, good fax operation. Black and white output is good, but SLOW. Everything is SLOW. Color output quality is marginal reguardless of source (photo, web or copy). Tech support keeps suggesting that I clean the cartridge again. Should have stuck with my six year old unit.

Setup was easy and the wireless feature works from far away and around corners. On the other hand,the printer won't print red things, but colors red as yellow. I don't know if I have a bad cartridge or a defective machine. Lexmark's customer service won't answer its telephone but leaves one on hold; the first time it eventually dropped my call and hung up on me; the second time, it eventually asked me to leave a call back number that I provided. A week later, I'm still waiting for a return call from Lexmark.

The printer was a great buy, due to a great Buy.com deal, but it is not as fast as advertised and I have had instances when I send it a multi-page print job and it only prints 1 page, which is VERY frustrating, particularly when you send multiple jobs.

It takes a couple of minutes from the time you click on File/Print or simply click on the printer icon on the tool bar for the item to make it to the printer. Then it takes another minute or so for the printer to initiate the print. My Lexmark X63 prints immediately when requesting a print.

Nice printer, and easier than I had expected to set up. The ink cartridges are not carried in stores nearby, so I will have to order online and plan ahead a bit. The convenience of keeping the printer stored out of the way, and wirelessly connecting all of the laptops to one printer is wonderful! Also be sure to check out the X7675, when on sale it is an even better buy.

For ~$115 delievered there is no sense quibbling over minor details. Does everything as advertised with ease and with good quality output. Budget a good amount of desktop acreage - it is not a very small unit.

Easy to install. Works well so far. The only hitch I ran into was the printer would go into sleep mode for only a few minutes. I called up costumer service and they stayed on the line until problem was solved. If the fax shares a phone line with the your home phone then it will not stay in sleep mode during times of inactive service. All that was needed was for me to disconnect the phone jack. Printer stays in sleep mode when not in use now. If I want to use the fax function then I have to put the phone jack back in. Just an inconvenience since I don't send or receive faxes that often. Customer service was excellent.

This has worked well for me so far. The only negatives have been that the setup required using the USB cable (which required me to move it initially) but after that the wifi connection has worked great. The interface for scanning a document as PDF is a little convoluted because the OCR software seems to be separate from the core of the scanning piece. It works well but it takes a little getting used. The positives are the way it makes it easy to include multiple pages into one job (allowing me to scan the other side of a paper). The printing and copying are simple and straight-forward.

I'm pleased with my new Lexmark printer. Printer install directions were a breeze, everything worked perfectly. The print and color resolution of my printer is perfect. I would recommend this printer. All in all, I'm happy with the on-line ordering process, rapidly delivery and performance of my Lexmark printer.

This product puts HP MFCs to shame. I works as advertised, and was totally plug and play setup. It comes with high capacity ink cartridges, unlike HP that packs low capacity starter cartridges. Speed and color (photo quality - I did not test) of typical things are superb. Scanning and faxing in and out could not be any easier, and the machine even has caller ID display.

My first WiFi and fax printer. Setup was a breeze on Vista with wireless turned on. Printer works great, quality is good. It's quiet, fax works terrific! I would buy this again, especially at the $92 incl. s/h I paid here!

Ordered the X6675 Lexmark.It arrived and set up easily onto my wi-fi network, except the scanner wouldn't work.I called the help # and after 45 min. of trying to re-download the drivers, the technician decided to send out a replacement unit, which I received in less than 48 hours. The new unit works great. And it was on sale for $91 and free shipping.

Awesome wireless, easy to setup if you know anything about a wireless networking, or if you just know how to follow instructions. Sending and receiving faxes are a breeze. Definitely worth the money for any home office or even a full time college student. Scanner works great and print quality is magnificent.
