I have not made a printer change in like 10 years...my HP 870 has been a great printer. Fast, reliable, and the quality isn't horrible. But I needed to print from a couple of laptops AND a desktop PC. Having an all in one would be a decent option. THEN I saw the wireless option and decided to go for it. The printer was a snap to set up, two wireless laptops, and one USB connected desktop in a few hours. Quality is decent, lots of paper and ink options, even with the standard ink I was happy with the photo quality. The scanner is super and delivers to the PC that is currently connected, couldn't be easier. I am not overly computer savvy...and it was easy as pie. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?

It took a few minutes to locate where the ink cartridges were to go... a better picture of opening that additional 'layer' of mechanism below the copy layer to insert them would have been most helpful.

this is a very good quality printer, scanner, and copier. i cant really say much about the fax part because i dont use the fax. everything about this unit is great and legit... except for one thing. which is the fact that the unit freezes every couple of days. it is supposed to go into sleep mode when not used after a certain amount of time, which it does sometimes, but other times it just freezes. but thats easy to fix, all you have to do is unplug for 2 mins or so and plug back in, and it works perfectly! power cycling it is kind of a hassle, but its better than nothing. i have another lexmark 4 in 1 printer and its a higher series than this one and it freezes just like this one... This multifunction printer was very easy to configure with a Windows XP Pro laptop and then has worked flawlessly over my (secure) wireless network. I was very pleasantly surprised that it went so easily. Sending and receiving faxes also worked without a hitch. I still haven't tried scanning, though 'Copy' works well.
Printing is a little on the slow side, even for a straight black on white text document. Nothing I can't live with though.
All-in-all, a good buy.

Can't beat the price at $79.99 plus free shipping. Am happy with the speed of delivery. The product is easy to use and satisfy our needs to have a wireless printer for our home wireless network. I like the Lexmark, for the value of it, it was worth it.
The only issue I have is the scanning, can not really edit anything, like a busn card, you are stuck with the size.
Also fax NOT compadible with MAGICJACK...so cannot use it
Over all prnts out really nice.

Real easy to install, just follow along with the disk. I was a little worried, when I read some reviews that stated a problem printing from wireless, and than printing with one computer connected with a USB cable, but mine worked fine. I printed using both wireless, and wired, and both were great. I haven't used it much, but I think I am really going to love it. Easy to install on numerous computers or laptops with the wireless option, and another feature I am going to like is the copy without the computer on feature.
