    While this flashdrive is fast, the included software is not what I was looking for. It only allows you to use MSN internet explorer, unless you upgrade, which of course requires extra money. So far, I have not been able to install puppy or slax linux, probably because I have to erase the included software, and I'm not sure any one of them will work if I do that. Personally, I'd rather that they didn't include the software (which, incidentally has several bugs)and knock some money off of the overall price. Other than that, it's been pretty good so far.

    I owned a similar one that I just happened to have thrown out last night. It was a 512MB model that I had for over a year. It worked pretty quickly and well. I always kept it in my pocket and used it moderately. The cap comes off easily in your pocket and about a month ago I noticed that the plastic around the male connector end was broken, solder connection inside had started to come loose, and it was having a hard time being mounted by the computer. I was able to copy the data off by holding the end up so it would make the connection inside. Get it for the performance and if a year is enough durability for you. Get a retractable model though if you want better durability.

    Unlike Kingston 4GB DataTraveler USB 2.0 Flash Drive this one is really badass flash drive. Why? It is simple! Kingston has about 3MB/sec writing speed. With Kingston I have to wait about 5 minutes to write photoshop data (huge files). This drive works as advertised and making writes up to 30MB/sec - it is 10x!!! I have Kingston and I had this one before and using it every day! Recommended!!! Don't trash your money with Kingston!
