Works for me... just that I didnt realize that the USB drive's cap has lanyard hole... its possible that you wear it on your neck and you will be left with only the cap... Most of my other USB drives have lanyard on the USB itself... the cap can fall off and mostly they provide one extra cap free of charge... Was this review helpful?

This little Firefly drive is extremely handy and convenient. I appreciate the bright activity light that lets you know when it's doing something. The removeable cap becomes the body, so it's not too small. It fits well on your keyring. Was this review helpful?

I just love the firefly. I got one myself and had to order one for my wife. It's the best flash drive BY FAR out of any that I have had. First, it's TINY. It's also quite fast when compared to a lot of flash/portable usb drives. the cover fits perfectly on your keyring and the drive snaps in and out very securely. People are amazed when they see how small it is and I tell them it's 4 gig. If you are a tech/nerd/geek like me, this drive is a must have! Was this review helpful?

I bought this drive because it is compatible both with Mac OS computers and Microsoft computers. I consistently go back and forth between the two computers and I needed my flash drive to be able to move and be flexible with me.
The speed is impeccable. It is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and compact, but not too small that it is easy to use.

This 4GB flash drive is the envy of all my friends! It's incredibly small and light weight, yet holds a massive amount of information. I bought this to replce my 8GB Memorex Megadrive which stopped working 13 months after I got it. (Yes, you guessed it, no more warranty for me!)
Unlike the Megadrive, Lexar Media 4GB Jump Drive has no annoying flip-open hinge that I found out too late damages easily.
I originally bought my flash drive to store my work on, but recently discovered that it will double as a ReadyBoost on my laptop to speed up my computer!
This is a great buy and I certainly recommend it to others.

The Firefly series is the smallest flash drive made by Lexar, a very big name in flash memory. It may be small, but it's not so quick: my speed tests show a write speed of 3.5 MB/sec and a read of 10 MB/sec. Compare that to the Lexar Mercury series, at a write of 10 MB/sec and a read of 15 MB/sec, or the Lexar Lightening at 20 MB/sec write and 30 MB/sec read and you'll see this isn't the speediest flash drive around. It's about the same as the SanDisk Cruzer series, but it's certainly not "High Speed". It's often hard to find the actual speed specs, even on the manufacturer's web site.
This is a "bare" drive, not encryption or compression software included. That's OK for most folks, but other drives bundle U3, encryption or other (often useless) software with their drive. Was this review helpful?
