4 of 5 High Quality, Firm Keys Tuesday, March 27, 2007 John from Western, New Jersey
I bought this to sit on my lap. It is fairly wide with a full number pad on the right. The keys require a lot more pressure than most which is a slight problem when touch typing. At the same time they have lots of travel which would have been really good when I made the move from a typewriter to a computer but I guess I have become really used to the soft touch. There are two sets of mouse buttons on top and bottom of the excellent touch pad. It feels high quality all the way. Sometimes when touch typing my thumb drags over the touch pad and causes me to type in the wrong spot because the cursor moves. This is really annoying but might be because of using it on my lap. I would buy this again. It is also ultra thin, not cheesy in any way. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 really nice keyboard Tuesday, March 28, 2006 A Customer from st. peters, mo
this keyboard is really nice. works really well too. you can use the touch pad and trackpoint at the same time. the whole thing is really responsive.
the one drawback is this device does not have 2 usb connections. it is just one. so unless you have a usb kvm, one that takes usb in on the console connection, then it is only good for one computer.
they have usb to ps/2 either mouse or keyboard style. neither will work to convert this to be used with a standard kvm. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great Keyboard but not compatible with KVM Wednesday, January 26, 2005 A Customer from Cary, NC
This is a GREAT keyboard that has the same look/feel/layout as an R50 Thinkpad. The only problem is it was not compatible with my Belkin KVM. The KVM just beeped over and over until I put the old/simple usb keyboard on. Was this review helpful?
