Martial arts student Leroy Green (Taimak) is on a quest to obtain the elusive all-powerful force known as "The Glow." Along the way he must battle the evil, self-proclaimed Shogun of Harlem--a kung fu warrior known as Sho'nuff (Julius J. Carry III)--and rescue a beautiful singer (Vanity) from an obsessed record promoter. Combining pulsating music, cutting-edge dancing and the best in non-stop action Barry Gordy's The Last Dragon is kicking' good fun featuring an amazing Motown sound track, including music by Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Vanity and DeBarge performing their smash hit "Rhythm Of The Night."

Editor's Note

A young man living in Harlem strives to reach the highest level of the art of kung fu. Standing in his way are "Sho'nuff," the self-proclaimed shogun of Harlem, and Eddie, the king of trashy videos.

5 of 5 Funny Movie Monday, July 07, 2008
A Viewer from South Carolina

"Who's the master? Sho'Nuff!" This a classic martial arts film that will surely make you laugh at some point or another. Also shows some good martial art choreography. If you're a fan of martial arts movies buy this!

5 of 5 Oldie but goodie... Friday, June 22, 2007
srshellsrs from Wheeling, IL
You won't be amazed by any one thing in this movie, but it's just a classic story of good kung foo guy vs. bad kung foo guy and it's pretty funny because it's not that great. It still gets a five from me, because it reminds of my childhood.

5 of 5 Greatest movie ever made in the 80's!!! Thursday, February 07, 2002
Jeff LB4JBM from New Rochelle, New York
I have watched this movie since I was a little boy back in the 80's. When it came out on DVD it was like a dream come true. Its a great movie, pumps you up just like Rocky does but with some good old NYC soul. I recommend buying this because its great.
