Trouble really however, when Benedict gets a hold of Danny's magic ticket, and travels to the real world laying waste to Times Square. | | Professional Reviews | Total Film "...Rather smart....[With] some truly original and bizarro action scenes..." 12/01/2003 p.47James Berardinelli's ReelViews 7 of 10 Last Action Hero works as an unexpectedly witty comedy... There's hardly a plot device of the action film that goes without some kind of dig. The car chase, the shoot-out, the exploding vehicles and houses, the death-defying jumps, the triumph over impossible odds, the last-second escape--all of these, and more, are mercilessly lampooned...

1 of 5 No Widescreen on this DVD! :( Tuesday, August 26, 2008 Pete G. from Horsham, PA
The film, which is excellent! I purchased this DVD from Buy.com specifically because the Features and Aspect Ratio both indicate that this is the disc containing both Widescreen and Full Screen versions of the film. Widescreen only is completely out of print, and the Widescreen/Full Screen disc is very hard to find. If you want to see the Widescreen version of this film, don't waste your time and money like I did. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Best Arnold one-liners!!! Friday, January 11, 2002 A Viewer from Tenafly, NJ
The first time I saw this movie I was 13 years old and we were in the theatre. I was always an arnold fan cuz of the action! But I never knew he could be so darn funny. All I remember in the theatre was that I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe! This movie has the best Arnold one-liners and sillyness. He says so many funny things! At least 20 phrases I have recorded and put on my computer as .wav files. I have seen this movie 15 times. To be honest, the first time you see it, it is really weird. But after seeing it 2 or 3 times you will really get all the jokes and appreciate the comedy! Any Arnold fan MUST own this DVD! Was this review helpful?
