On February 19, 2009, TV broadcasters will stop transmitting an analog signal. All analog (non-digital) TV’s will require an ATSC analog-to-digital converter to receive network programming or the homeowner will need to pay for cable or
satellite service.
Lasonic ATSC converter connects easily to any analog TV. It is a cost effective way to continue watching older televisions that are not connected to cable or satellite (in children’s rooms, the garage, basements etc.)
Features
Allow older TV’s (not connected to cable or satellite) to receive new HD signals
Display in 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio to fit any TV
Simple plug-in coat connection (75ohm)
RCA video and audio outputs
Selectable channel 3 or 4 analog output
Support channel display, closed caption and V chip parental control

5 of 5Purchase is No Brainer - excellent buy Thursday, January 08, 2009 A Customer from macedon, ny
Shipping from Buy.com was excellent as always. Unit is extremely compact and light weight so it is unobtrusive sitting on top of TV. Set up was a breeze (under five minutes) and with an inexpensive antennae from radio shack I was watching digital quality programs in no time.
