I looked at just about every heater Amazon had to offer and bookmarked about 20 heaters to cross compare. Goal was to warm up my office room that gets pretty cold with all the windows and basically keeps the central heat constantly turning on and off. So far this one seems really good. Good heat gets blown out, comes with remote control and a timer option. This is way bigger than a desktop mini-heater, but it gives off at least 3x the heat than any other plug in heater I've ever paid attention to. It does make noise, but compared to my central heating its a mouse.
I think this was a wise purchase overall and can feel the difference in my whole condo.
Ended up buying this heater from Buy.com b/c it was cheaper than Amazon and shipping was free. Unrelated to the heater, it literally arrived the next day so that was also impressive. I was expecting 2-3 weeks, I have never had anything arrive the next day.
If you are looking for a heater, just get this one you will like it. Was this review helpful?

This heater works so well that I ordered another the following week. It's hard to find it in the stores. I was only able to find it at Buy.com. The price is the best anywhere. I believe this is the updated model since a friend was the one who advised me to buy this item. The heater she has is not remote controlled like this one. I think the other has been discontinued. I advise anyone looking to buy a space heater to get this product before they are no longer available. Was this review helpful?
