Rocket car racer Michael Singer (Billy Zane) tries to break the land speed record and win $50 Million. Two teams are in a heated race for the money and the honor that comes with the record. No one has yet been able to break 1,000 MPH on land, so with so much money on the line and a reputation to uphold, Singer is ready to take some extra risks to win. But the other team is just as determined and in a heart-pounding, two-man race to reach Mach2, the winner might not be the driver who crosses the finish line but the one who doesn’t self-destruct in a blaze of fire.
