A staple of Saturday morning television in the 1970s, LAND OF THE LOST has subsequently achieved cult status, largely due to a strong word-of-mouth campaign. The puppetering effects of creators Sid & Marty Krofft were considered fairly revolutionary at the time, and although special effect techniques have vastly improved since then, the strength of the storylines combined with a highly endearing quality means the shows still hold up well. This release presents the entire first season of the cult classic.
