The gauge displays the total rain recorded and has indicators for light and heavy rain. The IT 915 technology allows fast transmission of information to let you see the outside temperature from inside your home.

This unit has limited readouts and only remembers annual rain fall. There is no history beyond 24 hours. But considering the cost it's works fine

I purchased this as a replacement for another rain gauge that was a real pain. So far this has worked as promised. One of the main features is that the batteries are supposed to last 3 years. I like the 24 hour total display. I have only had this for a short time, so far so good. It was worth the price.
