The card seems to work just fine, however if you try to contact K-World regarding your rebate you will never hear from them. Very disappointed with the manufacturer.

This is actually the second one of these I've purchased. The first one was for me and now I'm getting this one for my son. I got my first from Tiger Direct for around $35 over a year ago and I'll tell you exactly what to expect: There is a coaxial input on the card itself along with some plugs on cords that hang out of it. You can plug in your tv cable, composite video, analog audio and s-video. There is also an fm radio antenna that comes with it and you plug that in to it's hole in the card and listen to local radio on your computer and that works well. The tv cable(coaxial) picture is really grainy so if you actually intend to use this as a tuner where you change the channels within the program itself and program recordings you'll be quickly disappointed. BUT - if you use it the way I do you'll be quite happy with it: I have my cable box near to my computer and I go from that to the card with s-video and audio and the quality is nice. I just use the remote from my cable box to change the channels instead of the one that came with the card, although the one that came with the card will adjust the volume on your computer, work the radio, and you can use it to record what you're watching and rewind so it can still come in handy. This card is also nice for capturing video from old vhs tapes and camcorders because the composite video input has good picture quality too. It's nice to be able to work at the computer and put my show up in a corner of my screen and it's nice to be able to rewind live tv and capture video. You can still record shows too - you just have to program your cable box to turn to that channel when it's coming on and program the card to record at that time slot. Just remember what I said about the coaxial input. One more thing - there isn't a rebate available for this item right now so the rebate related reviews don't currently apply. I paid a total of $19.24 for this card with free shipping and no rebates. The item comes with free shipping and the Google checkout promo gave me $10 off at checkout. Regarding Mail-in-rebate: I bought this product because of mail-in-rebate. I have sent mail-in rebate with delivery confirmation with all documents attached incl UPC. I never received mail in rebate and no response to emails. Regarding product: This product is very good to capture high quality videos from camcorder. I have Sony Hi8 camcorder. Using Sony software i could burn video CD but quality is not good. I have connected camcorder to computer PC card and got very high quality DVD. I am very impressed with the quality of the video DVD quality.

I bought KW-LTV131RF last Dec from buy.com. I have not received my rebate yet. I sent rebate@kworldcomputer.com many emails and I have not get any reply. I just know that there are hundreds people were lost money from this company’s fake rebate. I never buy thing from KWorld Computer Co, Inc.

1. poor picture quality, FM is ok. 2. it wasn't recognized by one of two pc's I have (Abit NF7-S + Athlon XP) 3. as other customers I still haven't received my rebate.

Bought the Global TV Terminator in December 2006. It arrived well, instilled as per instructions and Ka-Boom, Very poor picture quality. At high quality setting 2/3 of the screen had green dots and at normal picture setting the right side of the screen had white dots like noise in the old tvs. Biggest bummer Remote didn't work. Wrote to Kworld one good thing the support was good, they sent some testing tool which produced the same results. So, they determined that product does not work. Sent it back with my own shipping costs. Came back with new piece. Now the remote works but picture quality still the same. Wrote back to support, no answers. Worst it was supposed to be free from buy.com after rebate. I sent them the documents and the bar code from the box. Rebate never arrived. On their website it says waiting for the documents. While the old box from which I sent the UPC is already gone back when I shipped the old card. Almost six months have passed. I tried all setting in the software as well as monitor. It does not work, still no rebate. I am planning to complain to BBB. KEEP AWAY FROM KWORLD PRODUCTS THEY ARE REALLY POOR QUALITY.

Just like my title says, been running strong. Bought from newegg, but would buy it here again if needed to. For everyone whose having problems, just DOWNLOAD the drivers from Kworld's website and then install QuickTV viewing program on the provided CD and you should be set (Just browse the CD for the program folder). I've upgraded and changed computers ever since and this method of install has never failed.

KWorld is a rip-off when it comes to rebates. I've bought two products from them (Internal TV Tuner and External TV Tuner) because they offered rebatres on both (honestly, I wouldnt have bought KWorld unless a rebate was offered) and now they wont honor either of my rebates AND they dont respond to my inquiries into my rebate status! Total bull. If the rebate aspect is what's driving your purchase decision, stay away, STAY FAR AWAY from KWorld products. The functionality of the TV Tuner in general is OK, it's not bad - not super clear, not crappy. I'm just angry because they advertise rebates and turn around and not only not honor them, but ignore me while doing it.

I purchased this card in December. After using it for 6 months I can say I am happy with it's performance for the price. It was easy to install and easy to use. It doesn't have the clearest picture and doesn't do a very good job on recording, but if all you want is a tv pic in a window on your screen, this will do nicely. My only complaint is their rebate program. It is now 5 months and I still do not have my rebate check. I emailed customer service 3 times with no response. They do not reply. Today I phoned them (cust svc: (949) 450-0052) and spoke with a rep who looked up my rebate, verified that it was approved, and said a check would be mailed soon. If you google "kworld rebate" you will find pages of complaints from folks who never received the promised rebate. People who phoned them did eventually receive the check. Just a tip.

I had to restart the pc like five times before it finally got the signal for the first time. The software will probably cause internal conflict in your computer, possibly making it crash often. The pics are blurry at best. Also a bit slow and forget about the rebate---they will stiff you.

Be careful about Kworld rebate, you may never get it. I bought this one and submitted the rebate request 18 weeks ago and still haven't received the rebate yet. I have sent 3 emails to the address (rebate@kworldcomputer.com) they provided in the rebate form in past month, they never response to me. I send email to support@kworldcomputer.com and they told me they cannot do any thing for me. No phone number to get contact with them.

The product works well except for an occassional loss of picture when shifting modes but a quick restart fixes that. I only wish I had purchased the HD version. The remote and FM features really make it easy to help enjoy your computer and leave the extra TV off. Smart buy - will be buying more of the HD version.

I purchased this item last December (it's currently April). It was fairly easy to install and use, but it's not a high-end card. However, for the price (after rebate), I think it would be an okay card - and it works for my needs. However, after sending in my rebate information on Jan. 3rd, I have never received it. I have sent 4 inquiries about the missing rebate, but the company has not seen fit to respond. For the money, I could *NOT* recommend this product. If they would send the rebate, I could change this recommendation, but without the rebate, the product is over-priced.

Becareful! No UPC bar code on the box but, rebate requires UPC code. So, the result is no rebate check received. BBB.org shows that more than 100 customers filed complaint about its rebate fraud.

I sent 2 rebates to Kworld. 4 weeks ago, I asked for rebate status. No response. I filed a complaint to BBB. It did not response either. But, I found more than 100 customers filed complaint at BBB. I called Kworld and talked a rebate manager, he refused to tell me anything. When you buy it, do not countthe rebates

The card that I bought only works on one pci slot, the rest of the slots all hit driver error. email to kworld tech support got no response. I was lucky that I tried so many different ways and found one pci slot that worked for the card. The driver is terrible. The antenna is useless. If you want to get a rebate from kworld, I wish you good luck. If you expect a rebate from kworld, I suggest you do a "kworld rebate" search on google first. You'll know what I'm talking about here. I wish I did that before I hit the order button. The worst things is that I'm getting tons of Chinese spam emails after I emailed kworld to check the rebate status. Apparently they sold my email info while holding my rebate! Think twice before you order products from kworld!!

Could not get the part to work. Went to their website and downloaded the latest drivers. Searched through their knowledge database and still unable to get the item to work. Also, never received my rebate.

Purchased this 3 mos ago, works well and for the price I can't complain. I had a problem with the drivers: XP is looking for Phillips 1735 drivers but Kworld only uses Phillips 1731 drivers, I had to disable this in my device manager and after doing a search this apparently is a common problem. The record function, PnP and Freeze frame are cool, comes with a nice remote. Overall I am satisfied.

Installation, setup and usage is a no brainer. I'll bet my 5 year old grandson could install it! Terrific features and everything worked properly out of the box. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my other PC.

Its working well so far. I didnt have a problem with my DVD driver and I had a small problem with my audio card but now its ok too. I think this product is ideal for the price.

I bought this product a week ago. Being a first time buyer of a PCI TV out card, was expecting to have lot of issues with the application and hardware..!!! It was a surprise to see that it had no issues on installing the hardware, application or whatsoever! It can be compared to any plug-n play PCI cards. Very easy to install and configure. The Auto Scan feature is the best, which matches any regular TV tuner. I did test out the video recording mode with both high and low quality setups. Both came out very well. Haven't tested the DVD/VCD editing and burning software yet. Over all, I recommend this product as a fully satisfied customer.

Card installed without problems under Windows XP SP2.I downloaded the drivers directly from the Kworld Website.Picture quality is not great but is certainly watchable.I think it will look better on a CRT Monitor then a LCD.Capture quality is excellent.Perfect lip sync.Stable Driver.Works around the world as it is multisystem.I bought it for my dad's new PC that I built and he lives in India (PAL system).I tested here in US and it works fine. Excellent bargain.Remote is also very responsive.Did not try FM yet.I am happy with the purchase.

Most pci tv cards cost near or more than $100, so not too much is expected from a card that cost less than $20. It did work after much trial and error. I think it was worth the $15 i paid shipped even if it isn't flawless.
