I purchased this product for the "TV anywhere" function, and it did not perform as advertised. Set-up took much longer than expected. I tested it at another computer in the same office and could not believe how long it took to "buffer" each station, if it succeeded at all--it probably had at least a 50% failure rate. Both computers are new and I have high-speed cable internet, so you can't blame anything but the K-world. I would certainly not recommend this for anyone. What a disappointment!

All, keep in mind that analog tv reception goes away per the FCC in January 2009. This product will then be obsolete!

The software is easy to install (my OS is windows XP). The picture quality is good, and what is more, switching between different channels is very fast. The interface is also designed for easy use. The price is a little expensive without rebate. If there is a remote control companied with this product, it will be perfect.

KWorld is well known of not honoring their rebates and Buy.com is no help in this regards. So if you are going to buy any KWorld product, do not count on getting the rebate.

I had just bought a PCTV HD tv stick for my computer for $100 when I saw this deal. I decided to return the PCTV from pinnacle and get this since it was about $50 dollars cheaper. The quality of picture is just the same with the KWorld product. I have basic cable and just plugged it into the KWorld tuner. I have windows MCE and I prefer that software to the KWorld software. It took a couple of reboots to get the tuner to work with MCE but now it works fine. If I unplug it and plug it back in, I occasionally have to reboot to get it to recognize the tuner but for my purposes this works great. The online viewing works great too.

I bought this unit to give my family a TV in the kitchen. It is well worth it! Start up is a little slower than a regular TV, but where else could I have bought a 19" LCD for $50? Also, the recording feature is easy and has already came in handy. I haven't tried the remote viewing feature, but even without needing it, I'm glad I made the purchase.

you don't really need this item just to stream your files over the internet. Using a free software such as Hamachi would be sufficient.

As usual with Buy.com, fast and FREE shipment. The tiny box works quite well, set up was easy, not as annoying as what I had heard about IPTV (ie Slingbox). The software installation was a breeze. All and all, no problem so far!

This compact device rocks! I can watch my favourite shows while I'm away on business trips. Though at some point, I have to ask my son to restart the computer. Definitely a good buy compared to Slingmedia's slingbox.

Bought this device and connected to my PC. I am able to wacth TV on my PC.....plus watch live TV anywhere anytime through the internet. It's a PC based slingbox but even better because I could pause the program when I am busy, continued it later as time shifting capability. I could pre record in schedule and watch the show later while I am away on business trip. Excellent product!
