4 of 5 Excellent Value for Money Tuesday, December 16, 2008
Johnny Joker from Arlington Heights, IL

This is a very functional tripod. I could not have asked for more from a $10 tripod. It has all adjustments you can ask for. I have used it with a D90 and it is quite stable. I dont know what the other person who rated it at 1/5 was trying... wrestling??? :)

1 of 5 Inexpensive but cheap Saturday, November 01, 2008
A Customer from Omaha, NE
I was not sure what to expect but figured it was worth a shot for $10. It would probably work very well as short, table top tripod, but it seems too unstable at least for my 35mm DSLR when fully extended. The adjustable parts are very cheap plastic and when I tried to tighten the mount I apparently turned too much and broke the adjustment making the tripod useless and it is now aluminum scrap. I will spend more money on a better, stronger built tripod the next go around. Buy.com service/delivery was excellant.

3 of 5 Value but not sturdy Tuesday, June 10, 2008
A Customer from McComb, Mississippi
This unit is a value priced item but is not very sturdy or steady. The extended length is nice a little over 5 feet tall when fully extended but not steady when fully extended. But at the price you can not beat it.

5 of 5 Works like a charm! Monday, June 09, 2008
Louie G from New Bedford, MA
Not as good as another one that I have, but hey, FOR TEN BUCKS! this is WAAAAAAYYYYY worth it. I saw the same exact model under a different name in Best Buy for $30. I've used this many times so far, and though it's not made as well as my other one, it works fine!

5 of 5 Very Good Product for the Very Good Price Monday, June 09, 2008
A Customer from Carpentersville, IL
I know some professional photographers are using very expensive tripods (somewhere over $200.00). However, for me, this tripod will do the job just as good as any other tripods. Actually, this is better than what I had for several years (Samsonite brand around $40-50). And included carrying case was a BIG plus! Good job Buy.com for Very Good Product for the Very Good Price.

5 of 5 Great Tripod Wednesday, June 04, 2008
Dan from Montrose, MI
This tripod goes way beyond what I expected. It is what I would expect from a much more expensive unit, plus it comes with a good carrying case. I almost feel guilty, getting it so cheap.

5 of 5 Unsurpassed Value Saturday, May 31, 2008
Victor from Los Angeles, CA
If you are an amateur photographer or even a "pro-sumer", this tripod is unsurpassed in value. The tripod itself is lightweight and sturdy, and its pan head allows you to set up your camera at any angle. Although the packaging does not list the load capacity, I can say that I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT with a 17-85 mm lens which is heavier than the 18-55 mm kit lens, and the tripod does a nice job in supporting the weight. The carrying case comes in handy. If you plan to use heavier telephoto lenses in low light, or if you need other features such as a bubble level, try the Sony VCT-R640 which is slightly more sturdy and is still an excellent value.

This is an easy to use, stable and effective tripod stand. It folds up into a relatively small size and expands in seconds. It will hold a small to medium sized video camera and almost any digital camera. With free shipping and instant rebate, it was free!

5 of 5 Cheap. Worth it. Thursday, May 29, 2008
A Customer from Haughton LA
All light-weight tripods are a little too light-weight. This tripod will not stand up to any real abuse, but if handled with reasonable care, it is extremely full-featured. The legs use a snap-lock mechanism; the head is very versatile. Excellent value for the discount.

4 of 5 A functional tripod Wednesday, May 28, 2008
A Customer from Columbia, South Carolina
While not the highest quality tripod that one can purchase it does the job of providing a stable base. It is not the smoothest tripod when it comes to movement (i.e. following motion with a camcorder); however, it is functional and is good for general use. I'll be using the tripod to shoot amateur video on occasions such as weddings, parties, etc. In this regard, this tripod this is great value given it's cost.

1 of 5 Not Worth Ten Cents!!! Wednesday, May 28, 2008
Bill Holmes from Bloomington, IL
The product arrived broken and without any information on how to or where to return. I would think twice before I purchase something like this again. Remember, if the price is too good to be true, the product mostly likely will not be (worthy). Stay away from this product!!!

5 of 5 FANTASTIC VALUE.... Tuesday, May 27, 2008
Greg Montgomery from Roanoke, VA
The craftsmanship and quality of this tripod is very good. I have priced tripods at 4 to 5 times the price paid for this tripod and they don't match up. Not to mention the durable carry bag that was included. If you are in the market for a nice tripod....this is a sure winner.

5 of 5 GREAT BUY FOR A QUALITY TRIPOD Tuesday, May 27, 2008
A Customer from Sunny Southern CA
This is a hot buy for a lightweight, quality tripod. Stable enough for our older film camera with a heavy zoom lens. Really like the weight for easy portability. Sorry to see it is sold out, I purchased three, one for self, two for gifts and came back for one more.

Tedd from Richmond, Virginia
I have a similar tripod already but could not pass up getting this one for such a good price. May use it myself or give it to a relative as a gift. Easy to set up and nice carrying case. Light and easily transportable. If you want professional grade smoothness, you can spend anywhere from $100 to $2000, but this type unit does the trick for most occasional users.
