I bought this battery and a charger kit to have a second battery and charger for my new camera. This battery charges fine with the charger I bought from eforcity (via buy.com), but the oem battery won't charge in the new charger. This battery works fine and seems to hold a charge resonably well. Was this review helpful?

Battery & charger were received quick. Haven't had time to fully test battery longevity, but so far seems to hold the charge very well.
Charger does the job, but back end of the battery has to be lifted up slightly for terminals to make proper connection, and charge. If you don't do that, you will get a "green" light, indicating the battery is charged when it in fact is not. Was this review helpful?

I've only had these batteries for about 2 weeks or so, and have charged them several times (I've taken countless pics and HD video with my new Kodak Z1012 to "learn" it). The batteries actually last longer than I had expected, and easily longer than the Kodak CRV3 lithium battery my camera came with. I charge them with the Insten charger also purchased from Buy.com. The combo has so far worked flawlessly. At the price Buy.com offered them, I purchased 2 batteries, but in hindsight should have gotten 3 (for extended trips away from electricity). I don't know how long the usable shelf life of them is, but at this price, they are definitely cheaper than buying the Kodak CRV3's each time. And carrying a spare battery and charger in my camera bag is a plus.
The shipping was much quicker than I had expected; being only a couple of days. I rated the batteries a "4" in "performance" only because their long-term durability is unknown at this point. I would recommend these batteries to anyone needing KLIC-8000 compatible batteries. Was this review helpful?
