THE SIZE IS PERFECT FOR TAKING ALONG TO SNAP PICS....I'VE ALWAYS BOUGHT KODAK CAMERAS FOR EASE OF SNAPSHOTS AND ALSO FOR THE EDITING SOFTWARE THAT COMES WITH IT....MY PICTURES ARE CONSISTENTLY SHARP, CLEAR AND SIMPLY AMAZING! PEOPLE ARE CONSTANTLY BLOWN AWAY BY THE PICS I TAKE WITH THIS CAMERA! ABOUT THE BATTERIES: JUST GET GOOD LITHIUM BATTERIES AND THAT WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM! SOMETIMES I WILL SHOOT ANYWHERE FROM 75 TO 200 PICS PER FAMILY EVENT AND THEN GO ON TO SHOOT EVEN MORE PICS LATER ON AND THE LITHIUM BATTERIES HOLD UP WELL! THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD, IS THAT IT IS A TAD SLOW GETTING THE SHOT, BUT THAT MIGHT BE ME! GREAT CAMERA OVERALL!

This camera is a complete waste of money. The LCD is terrible, the pictures come out terrible. The picture quality on my cell phone is better. I was thoroughly disappointed since I've had the same Kodak camera for years and the picture quality on that one (only 5 mega pixels) was far better than this one. When you use the zoom, the camera is unable to properly focus so the zoomed in pictures are blurry. Save your money and get a different camera! I wish I could.

This camera is perfect for taking high resoloution snaphots. It would hard to find a camera for taking snaphots of this quality for this price.

It's hard to always carry around the big DSLR, so I searched for a camera that was 1) small - but not so small that it was hard to hold and find buttons, switches, etc 2) high resolution and 3) took Hi Def video. So far I've been very impressed. I had to shoot a video in an extremely tight space with limited lighting, and the kodak performed perfectly. The only caveat to all this is that if you're going to use this camera to it's maximum capacity you need to purchase very fast, large capacity SDHC cards and you really need a set of decent rechargeable batteries and a recharger. That adds about another $100 to your purchase, but I think it's worth it. . .

We purchased this camera just in time to take pictures of our newborn. Great camera indeed! It takes great high-resolution pics and good video. By some weird coincidence, my relative purchased the same camera, w/o either one of us knowing. She only had positive things to say about the camera. I had no idea she was talking about the same camera I had purchased also until we both showed up with the same cameras one day. I give it a 10.

I bought this camera on another site for more $$, but it is well worth the price. The 5x zoom is really nice! Picture quality is more than great. I just wish it came with better batteries. You can purchase the rechargeable batteries to make it an even better bargain.

I bought this camera to replace my missing in action Kodak 3.0 MP. This camera pretty much has it all. The menu's can be a bit confusing, so I gave it a 4 on ease of use. Each click of the dial has its on set of settings. Which was a little confusing at first, I thought is wasn't saving the things I had picked. This actually is a major plus, just a little work at first. Total it takes about 5 minutes to set them all up to your liking. The picture quality is awesome. I only played with the video a little bit but seemed to work just fine. The High Def video I thought would be a little better, but again I haven't really played or tweaked with it. Plus side on video, sound seemed really good just max it out, recorded nice in a darker room. Downside, Quicktime format, I am not a be fan of that but I can deal with it for the price. Only thing I don't like is that when use charge via the usb it never really tells you its charging. No lights or anything. But it charges, just would like an indicator. Over all I compared this camera to all the others and for the price with all its features you can't go wrong. Especially with the 12MP and HD pics and video. I had my last Kodak for 3-4 years and it was a refurb. and I never had a problem with it, so Kodak makes a long lasting camera. Hope this review helps you out.
