I am new to the digital picture frame world, so I have no basis for comparison. However, I am very pleasantly surprised. So far this Kodak frame has been great. It's a gift for my husband so I haven't messed around with it too much, but I was able to turn it on, insert the memory card from my camera and viola! Pictures showed up immediately - nice and clear.
