5 of 5 5 months later, I'm still amazed Thursday, May 26, 2005
A Customer from Summerville, SC

Oh...my...goodness! My wife and I bought a Kodak DC280 waaaay back when digital cameras were pretty new. It was a 2MP camera, and took great photographs, printable at 8x10" if we didn't crop much. We took over 6,000 photos with that camera, and loved it so much that we didn't desire to upgrade to a newer camera until Christmastime, 2004. We went for this camera because of its amazing 10X lens. What we weren't expecting was the amazing quality of the photographs. We're constantly surprised by the photos that come out of this camera...they look like they were taken by a professional. The different settings on the camera (there must be a dozen of them) optimize the shot. So, for example, portraits automatically blur the background, which dramatically enhances the subject of the shot. Bravo, Kodak. You are the KING of digital cameras!

5 of 5 I love this camera! Wednesday, April 27, 2005
A Customer from Michigan
We bought this camera 4 days before we went on vacation. We love it! It is so easy to use and has great zoom. I couldn't believe the quality of the pictures when I printed them. They almost seem to be 3-D if you take them in good quality mode. We have recommended it to many people because we love it so much. One of the features we liked about it was that the buttons are not tiny, and the camera, even though bigger than many others, fits nicely in your hands. We were not interested in one that was small enough for your pocket. Also, the screen is large and very easy to see. We got the dock to go with it and you can take many pictures on one charge. I can't say enough!! Thanks

5 of 5 Perfect 5.0MP for the price I paid Monday, March 21, 2005
Sanjay from Chicago, IL
It is great camera. It is easy to use. Good burst mode. Drawback: The batteres are not AA. If battery goes bad. You have to buy it again just like cordless phones. It comes with Dock which is great. One touch Xfers does not give options to select the folder like older models. Overall it is worth to have it.

5 of 5 EASY TO USE AND A GREAT BUY Tuesday, February 01, 2005
A Customer from VENICE FLORIDA
The previous reviews are right on. The DX7590 has features till the "cows come home" and easy to use. Change the settings while looking through the eye piece with a novel joy stick and dial using your thumb. These features combined with the 10X lens make it an exeptional buy.

5 of 5 Great camera - nearly every shot comes out clear Friday, January 21, 2005
A Customer from New Orleans, LA
We've had the camera for one month and have taken over 1,000 photos -- almost every one is a "keeper." The lens is unbelievable at 10x optical, which is far superior to others in its class. We had a 3.2Mp Kodak, and this camera blows that one away. Printing photos at 4x6, 8x10, and 11x14, everything is crystal clear. We highly recommend it.

5 of 5 Loaded with features and easy to use - Great pictu Monday, November 15, 2004
A Customer from Marlboro, NJ
Since the DX7590 was a birthday gift for my wife, I had some concern that operation of the camera would be daunting for my her(she's not a tech head). A tribute to the design, she has absoulutely loved using the camera. Auto operation has been simple for her and while using it she has had the opportunity to explore the other modes. The pictures she has taken have been terrific. We waited for this camera to come along before upgrading our digicam. We wanted the 5MP and the 10x optical zoom. It was well worth the wait. The additional features and the overall design of the camera are great. The 5MP output produces wonderful pictures, with no pixelization even when using only a portion of the image blown up to full size. Pictures we took for putting items up on Ebay were easy to light and produced incredibly detailed images. (I was taking shots of electric trains we are selling - I was able to magnify the images and read very small lettering easily) - The flash, and its programs work great. Needless to say I have enjoyed the camera as well.

5 of 5 Top Notch Camera Thursday, September 23, 2004
Scott Anderson from Shepherdstown, WV
This camera is loaded with many special features such as an easy to use dial that allows specific selections to a much larger screen that allows you clear viewing of all your pictures even in bright light. It fits nicely in your hand and the toggle switch for telephoto/zoom makes getting that close up shot a breeze! The camera dock is easy to use and charges the battery as stated within three hours. I've also purchased a 512 mg card and at the 5 mega pixels setting the DX7590 can store 315 pictures. When you turn on the camera it helps you with each setting, allowing you to pick the right one for the job and even going as far as telling you to turn on the flash or hold the camera steady. The pictures from the camera are bright, colorful and crisp and ready to be printed out. The camera allows you easy transfer of the pcitures between camera and printer or computer and the colors come alive with the right color printer. Even on draft mode the pics are decent quality. The internal settings allow for easy saving and documentation of special events in folders as well as individual pictures. The only minor issue with the camera is that a proper hand hold on the left side might give the users better stability. The right side offers an easy hand hold with flip up access to the memory card. Over all this camera is one excellent camera and one excellent buy for under $500.00. The entire package, including zoom, 32 mg internal memory, charging dock and 5mg pixel capabilities make this a great buy! Highly recommended!
