Adapted from Kazuma Kodaka's hit manga, KIZUNA is an erotic anime centered on a gay love story. Handsome and charismatic high-school student Ranmaru is a rising kendo champion when he is hit by a car meant to kill his best friend, Enjoji, the son of a prominent yakuza boss. The friendship blossoms into romance as Enjoji nurses Ranmaru through his difficult, but ultimately successful, rehabilitation. Years later, the college-going boyfriends are threatened by the entrance of Enjoji's half-brother Kei, who has fallen in love with Ranmaru and plans to seduce him away. Subtly erotic, KIZUNA chronicles this riveting love triangle in a swooningly romantic style that is sure to appeal to gay and straight viewers alike. This third volume of the KIZUNA series offers many flashback sequences in which viewers are able to see the evolution of the characters' romance. From humorous misunderstandings to serious ponderings of their relationship's future, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING contains much less sex than the previous two installments, but is stronger in terms of story.
