Works exactly as described. Boosted my cell phone memory substantially, allowing me to add lots of music and images. One note of caution, though... A friend of mine ordered this product and discovered he was unable to use it because his cell phone has a maximum microSD card memory allowance of only 1GB.

A 2 GB Kingston Micro SD card allowed me to double the storage capacity of my Sansa music player easily and quickly. A great price and free freight from Buy.com included a card reader. The card works flawlessly in the Sansa player.

I chose regular ground shipping so it took a little longer to get but I am so happy with this. Buying this was much easier and cheaper then having to buy the seperate components to load songs and stuff on my cell phone. Well worth the money. I would definately recommend this to anyone. Another good thing is since it is made for a USB drive I can load my music on here and take to work and plug into my computer instead of dragging my mp3 player with me.

Easy to use. Perfect for music or picture storage. I'm using it with my Sansa MP3 player. I put 400 songs. It was great.

The micro SD card is exactly as expected. The surprise is with the size and function of the reader. The reader is not much more than a USB connector which slides out of a protective case. The card slides into the USB connector and the protective case hangs from a keychain like string. I find the ability to insert and remove the USB connector a delicate process. There is barely enough room for a finger and thumb, and one or the other is in contact with the smooth metal USB connector itself. There is very little to hold while pushing the connector into the computer, and removing the device is even more fun as there is nothing to hold onto. You are literally squeezing the micro card trying to get a grip to remove the reader, which means one wrong move and you could damage the card. They try to protect the card with an overlay, but the tail of the card is exposed. I am also concerned about static discharge to the metal connector but cannot say if this is really a problem. I like it, but the reader is about twice the size of the card, connector included, so it is SMALL. Since I really bought this for the card, the reader will only see limited use but is nice to have. Just be aware it is SMALL.

Much more convenient to load up my microSD card direct from my computer than through my phone or MP3 player. Great for using as a tiny flash drive too. Recommend.

I'm using the 2GB MicroSD card in my Cingular 3125 phone. It works perfectly. The included reader works fine, but the plastic cover is a bit cheap and probably wouldn't stand up to much wear.

This is the second one of these I purchased. The first was to use in my cell phone and it works great, this one is to use in an MP3 player and also works fine. Can't beat the price and quick delivery from Buy.com

I'm so happy with this product. The USB reader is easy to use but its smaller than a normal flashdrive USB so you have to keep it in a secure place because you can easily loose it and it can be right in front of you; its very tinny and portable. Kingston microSD memory card works very excellent; I also have a Kingston 2GB SD card, so i'm a strong supporter of Kingston products. I'm able to add music, pix, & flix to the microSD card. The USB reader is great because I can easy transport music, pix, & flix back and forth from my phone to computer without being charged by my phone network to send my own pixs online. I would recommend buying a USB reader for the microSD card rather than an SD card adapter because not every computer has an SD slot but every computer (desktop or laptop) has a USB port so you can add & remove music, pix, & flix from any computer anywhere thanks to the USB reader. Your getting two items for the price of one; your phone company would charge you twice the price for a microSD card which isn't even 2GB probably 512MB or 1GB (if you're lucky) and they won't give you a USB reader. My phone network charged me $20 for a 512MB w/ miniSD and SD card adapter so I checked the prices on BUY.COM and returned the product. It's an unbeatable deal for a 2GB microSD w/ USB reader.

This package is great for anyone who needs microSD memory. Works great with my cellphone (Samsung SCH-U740) and the card is easily switched between the phone and the Digital Reader. Note that this one does not include a microSD to regular sized SD adapter, which is also available on Buy.com. Write and read speeds are very good. There is a lifetime warranty available through Kingston, so if you have any trouble you are covered. Buy.com got 2 of these shipped to me in a few days, very satisfied with the delivery speed. The included microSD Digital Reader will read any microSD card 4GB and under, not just the included 2GB card. Although the Digital Reader does seem somewhat fragile, it has lasted me at least 4 months so far without a problem (The Digital Reader is under warranty for 2 years). This is a very good product for anyone who doesn't have an SD Card reader built into their computer.

I'm very happy with this product although I have only used it for a couple of weeks. It is not the fastest data transfer out there, but it allows me to transfer files from my PC to it and read them directly on my HTC phone. It's small size makes it great to carry with you all the time. The micro-SD memory slides easily in, but not so easily out. I like this feature because it would be inconvenient to loose it if you have it moving on your pockets or hanging from your company badge. I wouldn't recommend it to attach it you a key chain, however this is a decision you have to make based on your use, and the reason is that the plastic used for the unit easily scratches and possible shatter when pressed (I haven't tried this and have no plan to do so either) I would buy another one if I need another memory reader or USB memory stick)

I wanted to put the card in the SD card adapter, and shoot some photos with it. This worked fine, but I couldn't get the micro card out of the SD adapter. I had to stick in some hemostats behind the Micro, and basically ended up forcing the adapter wider. Now I don't know if I want to stick the card in there again. Memory is great, PC sees 1.9 Gigs via USB dongle. Buy.com got it to me in 2 Days!!

I am computer literate and the simple fact is that this microSD card only holds 512mb of data. Formatting and just about everything else the manual says to do doesn't work. If it were near 2gb of data, its a pretty nice item although frail.

For the Price U cant beat it. And it is very useful for a cell phone or cam. Very easy to use with the usb SD Secure Digital Reader.Free shipping did not take long at all, I recieved it within 3 days. I have dealt with buy.com before and so far they have not let me down.

Well i have been using it for maybe 2 weeks and this product is pretty handy but i think the red casing for the adaptor will break very easily. I put the micro sd card into my HTC TyTN phone and i attach the adaptor to the phone so when ever i want to put something on my phone or get something from the micro sd card i dont need active sync (program used to sync phone and computer) or a cable. Its great for 20 bucks its a great value. Now the bad news. When i first got the Micro SD card it was a little glitch-y but then i re formated it and it was fine the casing for the adapter is a very weak thin plastic so i don't expect it to last too long besides it really does nothing. It doesn't protect the little usb, it doesn't cover the usb up, it doesnt stay on when you have the usb plugged into the computer. I guess all it does is make the thing look prettier I'm satisfied with my order... for now.

currently using memory in my motorola v3m. w/ reader works fine transporting files to the memory chip the reader is very tiny. about the size of a quarter. if you need it buy it!

This is such a great idea for the transfer of valuable information and the micro SD card is large enough for transferring video file. You can just put any micro-SD card in the reader and plug it in to your computer. I use one of these things with my Blackberry to store phone numbers and contacts. I have bought of couple of these items and they work great. Both items arrived in a week from BUY.com. The hardest part was opening the sealed package.
