The Kingston microchip Reader works great once you understand how to use it! It came in blister pack with zero instructions so I phoned Kingston and got the answers needed. Slide your tiny micro chip into the back side (over the black string) into the arched opening. The copper fingers of both chip and reader must be facing up (so you can see both) as you do this. Now plug the Reader into your USB port of computer. It will only go one way! You will get a "box" on your screen with choices. The Reader has its own startup software auto loaded at this time. You can drag pictures or music to the micro chip easily now. Later, do a safe removal of Reader from computer (find little icon on lower right) and remove both. Later install the micro chip in your cellphone or digital camera. It will holds tons of songs/pics and works immediately in either device. It's kinda like having an external flashdrive but very tiny. The string is to help guys with big fingers to hold onto it! I recommend you do NOT swallow it or lose it in the clutter of mess on your desk!!!
