| | | Starting at 4GB, SDHC cards offer larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. In addition, Kingstons SDHC cards use new speed "class" ratings known as Class 2, 4 and 6 that deliver a minimum data transfer rate for optimum performance with SDHC devices.
Although identical in size to todays standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).
For added reliability and durability, our solid-state SDHC memory cards are built of nonvolatile memory components and have no moving parts that could wear out or break. All cards are 100-percent tested and are backed by a lifetime warranty and 24/7 live technical support.

5 of 5 Not A Brand Name But Works Like One Sunday, October 05, 2008 Alex from El Paso, Tx
When I was looking for a card for my camera I was thinking of a big name like SandDisk. When I found the kingston for half the price at twice the storage, I was really surprised. So far It's working great with no issues. Great price and great quality from buy.com!!!! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Fast, dependable, good value Saturday, October 04, 2008 Steve from Terre Haute, IN
With the recent purchase of a Pentax K20D, I decided to take advantage of its SDHC capability. I've had good luck with Kingston SD cards in the past, and the price was good for 8GB Class 6.
I've been using it for almost 2 months now, shooting mostly sports, sometimes in JPEG, sometimes in Raw DNG. Shooting in continuous mode is no problem. I've filled and emptied the card about 3 times without a hiccup. (Well over 1000 images, counting the ones deleted in-camera.)
I use a SanDisk MicroMate card reader to transfer images to computer via USB 2.0. I've transferred via WinXP and Vista both - quickly recognized.
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase 1-2 more if I were taking a long trip. Was this review helpful?

I took it out, put in my Canon SD870 Digital Camera and it recognized. I have been using it for weeks now. It is fast as promised. no complaints or regrets. There might be less expensive options, but I wanted a reliable name for my memory. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product Tuesday, September 09, 2008 imperiumfoedus from Utah
I've been using Kingston brand products for years and very rarely if ever have a problem with them. I bought this card for my new Panasonic FZ28, and it works great, transfers great to PC, haven't had any problems whatsoever. Can't bet the price, Item shipped fast, very happy. 5 of 5 Great Value! Sunday, September 07, 2008 Don from St. Louis, MO
This card is a great value and works well in my camera.
My only warning is that SDHC cards are not compatible with all card readers. The reader in my laptop worked after a patch, but my external reader would not recognize the card. A new external SDHC reader did the trick. It isn't enough just to use a computer to read the card. The reader needs to be compatible as well. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Why not buy extras? Sunday, September 07, 2008 A Customer from Apple Valley, CA
This card worked absolutely perfectly in my Pentax K20D DSLR. It's equivalent to a minimum of 15 rolls of film in a highend camera such as this and reusable 1000x. At this price, free shipping and quick delivery, why not buy at least one or two and never have to worry about running out of card space? Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 A Good Deal, Delivered Quickly Tuesday, September 02, 2008 A Customer from La Verne, CA
The cards were a good price for an 8GB class 6 sdhc, so I ordered two. One for a Zen MP3 player and one as an extra camera card for an 8mp point and shoot. They arrived quickly and were in retail packaging. Kingston always makes good quality and very reliable products. I made sure the memory would format as soon as they arrived. As such, I don't expect to have any problems with the product Was this review helpful?

Bought 4 of these cards, as I have many SDHC devices. The Kingston cards work in all of them that I have, but are less than satisfactory on my Nikon D40 DSLR Camera: there is a noticable lag between frame shots when taking several in sequence. I will be returning to Lexar 133x for camera work, which is not an unpalatable solution. I am hoping all Class 6 cards do not suffer from this malady.
They work fine in my Delorme GPS and a couple of other devices. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Good 8Gb SDHC Card Saturday, August 16, 2008 A Customer from Washington
Good Kingston 8GB SDHC product, at a good price, so no gripes. My laptops running on Win XP & Win Vista had issues with cards larger than 4GB, but that's not the SDHC cards fault. When I connected my Canon camera direct to a PC there's no such issue, only if you take the card out and connect directly to USB port with an adaptor. Good Buy.com product! Advice-- Do not buy SDHC cards from Hong Kong China off eBay as their quality is VERY questionable ...I can personally testify!! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great Experience as a first timer Wednesday, July 16, 2008 Paraj from Sunnyvale, CA
Kingston is a brand when talking about SD cards. I have had it for 2 weeks but has been used extensively (Copying and deleting) during our July 4th weekend vacation. My card arrived fast and went right to work in my new Digital camera which came with a 32MB card (Sad!!)And I can view pictures on my Nuvi 680 as soon as we return to the car. Thanks guys!! 5 of 5 Great chip Friday, July 11, 2008 A Customer from San Jose,CA
I bought this chip for my vacation pictures. Very good product for the price. Great capacity and speed is good too. I could do 50min worth of movie clips and various shots with my Cannon IS 710A camera without a problem. I did not even bother to dump them on my laptop hard drive to the end of the day. It was seamlesly recognized by all my Dell and HP laptop computers and desktops. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 PS3 and Nuvi 660 compatible! Friday, June 27, 2008 Albatross from Levittown, PA
Good speed. Lexar Professional 133X cards are faster AND more expensive. I use this in my PS3 and Nuvi 660. Nuvi 660 can be used as a card reader for this item. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 If Only Everything Was This Easy Friday, June 20, 2008 ModelMaker from Elk Grove Village, IL
This was purchased to fill the slot of a Jazz HDV188 and it works perfectly. I've used it to record hours of HD video and it has no problem keeping up under any and all conditions. Simply stick it in and have fun. Offers complete compatibility with built-in Toshiba laptop reader or SanDisk ImageMate 8 in 1. As usual, Buy.com had the best price, easiest checkout, and delivery was ultra quick. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Works great in my Canon S3 IS Tuesday, March 04, 2008 Nick from Bismarck, ND
I have been using this 8GB HC Class 6 memory card in my Canon S3 IS and it works great. I take a lot of pictures and don't empty my card often enough, so it is nice to know that even at the highest resolution I will probably never run out of space. Was this review helpful?
0 of 3 customers found this review helpful. 3 of 5 Does Not Work In Most Devices Saturday, February 16, 2008 Paul from Albuquerque, NM
This SD card does not work in most devices, though I did get it to work on my HP iPAQ GPS. It did not work on my 6 month old Gateway computer - I had to use a USB adaptor. Also, I've had trouble with the drivers for most SD cards over the years and it appears that this technology is incompetent. Many times an SD card "disappears" from the operating system during use, and corrupts the file being used. USB is much more stable. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works as advertised Tuesday, February 12, 2008 A Customer from Santa Barbara, CA
