Starting at 4GB, SDHC cards offer larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. In addition, Kingston’s SDHC cards use new speed "class" ratings known as Class 2, 4 and 6 that deliver a minimum data transfer rate for optimum performance with SDHC devices.

Although identical in size to todays standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).

For added reliability and durability, our solid-state SDHC memory cards are built of nonvolatile memory components and have no moving parts that could wear out or break. All cards are 100-percent tested and are backed by a lifetime warranty and 24/7 live technical support.

5 of 5 works fine with my Canon Saturday, May 16, 2009
A Customer from NC
I needed to upgrade from my 2 gb Kingston and bought this. Buy.com had it in my mailbox incredibly fast! My Canon Powershot S3 IS had no problems reading the card, the write speed is noticeably quicker, and my Dell's built in card reader could read this SDHC card.

5 of 5 Works Like a Charm Tuesday, May 05, 2009
A Customer from Gardnerville, NV
I've been using this card in my new Panasonic DMZ-FZ28. Specifically, I was hoping a high speed card would boost the camera's ability to take rapid action shots, and it worked great. A great deal from Buy.com yet again!

5 of 5 Great for Kodak Movies Monday, May 04, 2009
delgran from Rochester, MN
What can I say. Kingston, "You're the Man". I use this chip in my Kodak 12MP HD camera for shooting videos and uploading to YouTube. 8 GB is plenty of space for videos and pictures.

5 of 5 Great price for class 6 card Monday, April 27, 2009
Jason from Worcester, MA
The card works flawlessly in my Samsung HD camcorder. This was the best price I could find anywhere for a class 6 card which was the minimum speed I wanted to use in my camera. Definitely worth it!

5 of 5 It works Sunday, April 26, 2009
Sean from Atlanta, GA
Well, I haven't used it much yet, as it's mainly a backup for my Canon HF-100 HD camcorder. But it does work... plug and play, basically. It's instantly recognized by my iMac programs - iPhoto and iMovie - when plugged into a USB card reader. Good price and it seems to work.

5 of 5 Great card and great price Monday, April 20, 2009
Steve from Lorton, Va
The SD card works great and I have not had any problems. I received the card in record time using the standard shipping method. If Kingston products work like this, then I'm sold.

4 of 5 Good Price, issues with HD video recording Monday, April 13, 2009
A Customer from Colorado Springs, Colorado
I purchased the class 6 8GB card for the Panasonic Lumix TZ5 camera. Specifically to use for recording HD video the camera is capable of. I usually get errors about every other time I use it when recording video but no issues with still pics. The camera says it has to stop recording because the media is not capable of keeping up with the video recording. Picked up a SanDisk MobileMate SD Plus Reader to use for downloading SDHC card to a computer and it works like a charm. Other than that it works great. Not sure if it's a issue with the camera, memory or something in between!

5 of 5 Good SD card- and a great price Tuesday, April 07, 2009
Bob from Farmington, CT
I ordered the card, received it earlier than expected, and it worked perfectly on our vacation. Has LOTS of space. I would buy it again. Kingston products have always worked well for me, in stark contrast to my experiences with similar PNY products .

5 of 5 works great Monday, February 09, 2009
A Customer from newton ma
great price, works great in my canon 590 IS, the 32 mb card that comes in the original box is a joke, why even bother including such a useless amount of memory. What a difference now with the Kingston, video is seamless and it holds tons of pictures

5 of 5 WOW Awesome for the $$$ Saturday, February 07, 2009
A Customer from Raleigh
Works great and is Class 6!! For those who don't know, the class is the transfer rate in MB/s. So class 6 is 150% faster than a class 4. Best card I could find for the money...for now anyway until the 16GB cards come down :-) I use this card in my Canon SX10 IS digital camera. The card can easily keep up with the camera's high-demand movie mode. If you bought a digital camera or a camcorder that supports SDHC cards, get a couple of these and you won't be disappointed.

5 of 5 Good Saturday, February 07, 2009
A Customer from Baldwinm NY
I use it with my carkit to play songs from this. Only problem I am having is that this card is high speed, so some of the songs gets messed up while playing. But this I am sure is not the SD cards fault its just the compatibility issue. But overall my purpose is being solved and I am happy with it

5 of 5 Great for Digital Camcorders Wednesday, February 04, 2009
Masood from Stanwood, WA
I use these with my Panasonic digital camcorder (SD9) and they perform great. The recommended speed for my camera was class 4 or greater, so there's no jumping frames or poor performance. Great for digital pictures too. At this price it's almost tempting to buy more as tapes and just keep the video on the card!

5 of 5 Excellent value Wednesday, February 04, 2009
A Customer from Maywood, J
The prices of things have gone down in a big way. Thanks in part to the economy but in general electronics always get cheaper as time progresses. This usually occurs very quickly, within a year or so the prices of electronics drop. The same can not be said for the memory card world. Until recently this same card would have cost hundreds of dollars. Thanks to the flood in the market the memory cards are finally coming down in price, and this card is an excellent value. Great read/write speeds, this card can easily handle anything your camera can throw at it. I brought it for my Canon G9 to shoot HD video onto it. So far I have had excellent results with NO dropped frames. Burst rates have increased when shooting in sports mode using max resolution. You will need to get a modern card reader one that can handle the SDHC cards or just use the cameras built in pc connection.

5 of 5 Great value in an SDHC card Thursday, January 15, 2009
Steve S from Terre Haute, IN
I purchased one of these 6 months ago for around $33 to use in my new Pentax K20d dSLR. It's worked flawlessly ever since. So when I saw it come up again for half the price, I snatched up another one. In RAW mode, I get around 340 pictures on the 8GB card, so it's nice to have another card. I still recommend it - excellent value for a Class 6 card. I use a SanDisk MicroMate (USB 2.0) to transfer data from the card.

5 of 5 Holds a lot of video Tuesday, December 23, 2008
Mystorian from Lake Charles, LA
So far, I haven't filled it up all the way, even after vacation at Disney World and lots of video. If you don't have an SDHC card reader, you will have to plug your device into your computer to read it.

5 of 5 Very Good Deal from Buy.com Thursday, December 11, 2008
Jim from Delray Beach, FL
Excellent deal, works as it should: cheap & fast. Just remember to take in consideration that your devices must be able to read HC (High Capacity) memory cards, both your portable devices as camera, phone, etc, as your computer's card reader or card reader adaptor. Don't be dissapointed if you can't use it in your older camera, your next one for sure will be able to handle it.

This is a great value on an exceptional card. It's all about space and speed for my digital slr camera. This kingston memory card is a super performer. I recommend it whole heartedly. This is the answer to the question, "What high-speed, high capacity SDHC would be right for me?"

SPII from Columbia, Maryland
This is the second 8GB Kingston SDHC card that I have bought from Buy.com. The first was for a Canon G9, this one is for a Samsung L210. They are cheap, they are fast, and they work just fine; that makes them great values.

4 of 5 Remembers what it should Saturday, October 11, 2008
Fred from Columbia, MD
Using this 8GB SDHC memory card in my Canon G10. It is fast enough to keep up with the camera, and holds over 2,000 images from the camera's up to 14.7 Mpixel sensor. No problems or worries so far. I almost never rate things as "5", as there's almost always room for improvement (ex: lower the price and improve the "value").

5 of 5 Fast, dependable, good value Saturday, October 04, 2008
Steve from Terre Haute, IN
With the recent purchase of a Pentax K20D, I decided to take advantage of its SDHC capability. I've had good luck with Kingston SD cards in the past, and the price was good for 8GB Class 6. I've been using it for almost 2 months now, shooting mostly sports, sometimes in JPEG, sometimes in Raw DNG. Shooting in continuous mode is no problem. I've filled and emptied the card about 3 times without a hiccup. (Well over 1000 images, counting the ones deleted in-camera.) I use a SanDisk MicroMate card reader to transfer images to computer via USB 2.0. I've transferred via WinXP and Vista both - quickly recognized. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase 1-2 more if I were taking a long trip.

Bought for my canon SD 850 so that I can make videos, I was not sure if it will work with my camera. But it's working great. 8GB is huge for stills but useful if you want to make videos. Value for money.
