Kingston 8GB Multi-Kit Mobility Kit

I purchused this for use with my G1 (Google Phone), and it works great! I have been using it for several months now with no promblems. The USB adapter is neat (if a bit small and akward), and is almost as handy as the 8Gig chip, (which I thought was the whole reason for buying this). Turns out the adaptors are handy to have around. A Great buy.

This product works as advertised. It came with SD, MiniSD, and USB adapters. I have not use the SD or MiniSD adapter yet by the USB adapter works great. I can download music and video using the USB adapter to the MiniSD card and use it on my cell phone very easily. The USB adapter is on the flimsy side, but works great. For only $24.99, I would buy another one if I have the need for more memory.

This product is exactly what I expected at a great price. I couldn't find anything at 8GB cheaper than this, and this one came with all the adapters. I slid it into the USB adapter, downloaded all my music and then put the mini-card in my phone. It downloaded the songs way faster that way than if I sent it directly to my phone. Great product, great price, delivered quickly.

I like this unit. It has worked for me so far (about 2 weeks). I bought it to use with a Polaroid Camcorder and it works great. I like the adapters, esp the usb port connector. Thought it was a great unit for the money.

This Kingston multi kit is a great value. It is well made and very adaptable. However, be sure that you can use an SDHC card with your device. I intended to use this with my cell phone (an older model --- Cingular 8125) and it does not recognize this card. Come to find out my phone only recognizes SD (no HC) cards. Not an issue since I will be purchasing a newer phone in the near future. I did try this out with my partner's new Samsung Eternity phone and it works very well. However, make sure your device and this card are compatible before purchasing.

Not only is a great product (the memory chip) but the adapters are one of the best ideas for the consumer. I can use it as it is the intention of the manufacturer in several electronic items. Very convenient. Perhaps is a little too slow for cameras, I am using it with my cameras. Good sale price and the shipping was fast. I have a 2GB kit and 2 8GB kits. Very well thought out by Kingston.

I'm using the MicroSD card in my Samsung phone and it works fine. Having the other various adaptors in my bag helps me to transfer files from the phone to my laptop or another desktop if needed. I am very happy with the card and the price. But the speed is so slow.

Using this baby on my Samsung Omnia. Now I can take as many pictures as I want plus video. The usb adapter makes this so convenient to use as not all computers have card readers. I can simply pop it in my computer and transfers pics, music, and files with ease. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

I'm using the MicroSD card in my Samsung Saga phone and it works just fine. Having the other various adaptors in my bag helps me to transfer files from the phone to my laptop or another desktop if needed. I am very happy with the card and the price.

...and I mean: product quality, ease of use, portability of accessories, price, ease of buying and speedy delivery of buys. com... all! I am using it with my phone (LG Voyager) for media back up and so far have no problem at all with the quality of viewing or speed of transfer. The best gift with it was the 3 adaptors, specially the USB adaptor: works like a charm and easy to carry ... I am already buying another as a gift to a colleague... highly recommended!

This is the smallest USB flashdrive I own and it is great with the 8GB microSD card. I can use it on my camera with the sd adapter also , or use the microSD card alone in my cell phone it's great...BUY.COM has the best prices.....

The only "problem" I have seen is that when I use the full size SD adapter, my laptop doesn't recognize the memory. I just use the USB adapter instead and it works fine. Works great in my ENV2 LG as well. Excellent Buy.com price.

Every adapter needed for all purposes. Works great in my HTC Touch Pro. High transfer speeds through the microsd usb adapter. Transfered 1.5 GB of data in less than two minutes.

I purchased the Kingston 8Gb Mobility Kit primarily to expand the storage space on my Blackberry and then be able to transfer some files, as needed, to my computer or other device. Certainly, it is very handy for that purpose The only downside I have found is that the larger storage card makes my Blackberry significantly slower when I am reviewing photos. In fact, I had to remove any TIFF photo files, which are larger than the JPEG files, as they would take much longer to show on the screen or not even show at all. I think that is more a problem with the Blackberry OS than the Kingston card, itself.

I love this product, especially the USB adapter. I have so many devices and computers that take different cards, and was tired of always getting a new card reader whenever a new format came out. And Kingston always seems to make a quality product. My only minor complaint is that the size of the USB adapter is so small it can be challenging to plug it in to some USB ports. Highly recommended, especially for the price.

I got this for about $10. It works great in my Samsung L200 digital camera and my Insignia Camcorder. And having all the different adapters has proven handy. The little USB thumb drive has been monumentally useful. It keeps me from having to plug in my camera to get the pictures.

I have several devices that take micro SD, so this was perfect for me to upgrade my thumb drive memory and allow easier transfers. Price was good for the item and the swath of connectors do not go unappreciated. The USB connector is difficult though. VERY hard to get out once you put it in there (hope you have good nails!), and also incredibly small and heats up significantly when you plug it in. Otherwise good product.

Well, I remember when 8 gigs would require a flatbed pickup truck. Hard to believe we are at 8 gigs in a chip the size of a fingernail. This product is great to have and works exactly as expected. Plug it in and read and write. So small you could almost lose it. Good thing it has the little loop so that you can attach it to a lanyard or keychain.

Love Kingston media devices. This 8Gb packs a lot and really like the included card reader. Is very tiny so be sure to put it on a larger key ring. Very happy with product.

I'm using this card with my Sansa e250 mp3 player. Decent write speed with the included USB reader. With all the adaptors included you can't beat the price... buy it. It's a very good product.

I got this on sale so it makes it an even better deal (sub 20), but having all the adapters makes it fit into any SD based device and makes getting the data from one source to another much easier. Let's say your phone uses micro SD but your desktop doesn't have a card reader. You just slide the micro card in to the USB adapter and it shows up like another drive on your PC to copy and move files to and from. The adapters also let you keep your memory as you upgrade devices. Say you buy a PDA that takes miniSD you can use this card in the mini adapter, then 6 mos from now you get upgraded to the newest pda but they have now switched to microSD, no problem just take it out of the adapter and slide it directly in to the new device.

This memory and adapters perform great, only downside is you'll have to make sure your devices can read an SDHC card. I have used this card in a camera, in a phone, and as a flash drive and all that for such a low price. 8GB is more than enough memory for most applications, heck, I still haven't even filled my 2GB card on my phone that has music and high quality pictures.

This 8GB drive is an excellent storage device. Doesn't come with much instruction but I was able to figure it out quickly. It's very small and fits in pocket easily. This device gives the user many storage options.

I purchased this to use in my GPS so I could have extra space for my MP3's. The card readers I have are older, so I bought this kit to ensure that I would be able to read the cards. It ended up that my card readers did not recognize the HC card, so the USB reader that comes with this really comes in handy! And as always, Buy.com got it to me quick and with no issues!

The reader is a lot smaller than I figured on and may break. But, the good thing is that the card is Lifetime and Kingston has always been good with bad thumb drives that I purchased from them that I returned for new ones. The drive is so small and warranted for 2 years but I doubt that it will make it that long if you use it a lot. But, I use the adapter and use the card in my Canon and it works great as a Class 4 card. I use it in my Canon PowerShot A590 IS 8 Megapixels, 4x Optical Zoom, 2.5" LCD, ISO 1600 Digital Camera. ......... .......... Happy 2009!

This is by far the smallest thumb drive I have. Maybe we need to call it a pinky drive. It is super easy to carry around as well as use. I like the fact that I can upgrade to a bigger drive by buying a new MicroSD card to put in it. For $20, buy it.

I'm still getting used to the idea of having so much storage in such a tiny and affordable package. While not screamingly fast, it's an excellent value. Just don't lose it (the USB reader with memory card inserted is only about the size of the tip of your little finger).
